Great product for smaller companies growing - easy to set up.
We use Iterable as our CRM to send all customer communications via email and push - both automated and manual efforts. We use it across our marketing and operations team to enable our customers and partners a better understanding of the current status across their accounts and to get them engaged in our product.

Iterable is a great tool for the right size company
We use Iterable to put the user journey into the hands of our marketing team and reduce the load on our engineering team to communicate with our members. Our iOS, Android, and web clients all send events to Iterable that we use to trigger campaigns to communicate with our community via email, text, and in-app messages.

Ease of use = efficiency
We use Iterable for a range of marketing communications, primarily client retention. We have a range of communications set up; from newsletters to complex and targeted workflows.
I find Iterable to have a simple user interface and straightforward to build a workflow. Editing emails and implementing filters are easy compared to other systems. Reporting is simple and easy to access.

We use Iterable for Promotional and Operational email sends. We had some issues with Eloqua creating decision rules on real-time data. But Iterable solved that problem for us.

I use Iterable to launch email blast campaigns for multiple automotive dealerships and engage customers with the use of Journeys. Journeys help us automate aspects of customer engagement that would otherwise require significantly more attention. Journeys also allow us to find new ways to engage customers that may have required too many resources without them.

At Comparis, we migrated off our legacy ESP over to Iterable a year and a half back. The three main goals that Iteable helped us achieve were:
- It allowed our marketers to gain full control of their emails.
- It allowed Comparis to deliver personalization at scale.
- Have great sparing partners at Iterable to bounce our ideas with.
- The best support that I have ever encountered with any product that I consumed in the past.
- Takes customer feedback very seriously and acts upon them.
- Fantastic deliverability team who helps us stay on track with our reputation
- Iterable has some 3rd party partners over which they do not have a lot of control of (e.g. Drag & Drop interface). If consumers have issues with these, its very hard to get traction in the corresponding 3rd parties prioritization process.
- Iterable user profile data fields are as good as written in stone. If you create a data field by mistake, there's no way, as of now, to delete it. This ends up with a lot of junk data in user profiles.

First year review - With flying colours!
Super useful for segmentation, personalisation and reporting for our marketing emails. We have been using Iterable for 1.5 years now and we are quite happy with it, we love to see the platform evolves and take our feedback for improving all its capabilities. Moreover, Iterable employees are always very kind, available and easily reachable.

Iterable is a great email tool, one of the more modern and flexible tools I've used. I've used Marketo, SFMC, Responsys, and HubSpot. Iterable is my favorite. It has a lot of features that provide options in workflows and segmentation. The UI and template generator is also excellent and meets our needs.

A good tools to unify your marketing communications.
Iterable help us to - Create, manage, preview and deploy marketing campaigns - Target accurately users whom we want to send messages (email, SMS, etc.) - Easily create audiences and sync user data from our Customer Data Platform - Compose messages using data created by our own applications, like a Catalog of products and keep them sync without much effort - Send some transactional emails.
- Replicate user data from a Customer Data Platform.
- Query for specific user attributes for targeting.
- Building flows for campaigns.
- Monitor sent emails per recipient. We had to build something using their API.
- Sending transactional emails could be a good use case to centralize everything.
- Flutter support for push notifications.

Iterable gets the job done!
Iterable is currently being used by the majority of the business and we will be transitioning everything to run from Iterable. Iterable provides us workflows that we can configure to make sure that we send the correct message to the correct customer at the right time.

- Custom events are great for segmentation and workflow triggers, but unusable to personalize an email based on past custom events.
- No rate limiting on webhooks. Easy to bring down a third party vendor if processing a list.

Check out Iterable for your business
We use Iterable to communicate with our customers via marketing messages, transactional messages, and SMS. We find the flexibility to implement the solution that fits the needs of the message, personalization, or multi-step workflow is much greater with Iterable than with our previous email platform.
- Iterable's customer support, both through the account manager and their live chat and email responses, is great.
- The flexibility with third-party integrations made getting our project off the ground fairly simple.
- The handlebar logic that can be used within the templates was much easier to understand than on some other platforms.
- The SMS integration with Twilio is confusing at times, and without direct access to an SMS management interface is limiting.

Powerful Marketing Automation Made Simple
We use Iterable for all of our member acquisition campaigns. Iterable allows us to create robust campaigns that are responsive to our members' behavior.

- There tends to be frequent errors with the platform. I'd love for those not to occur as often because that worries me when I have multiple campaigns running at any given time.
I use Iterable for email marketing within my department and I help other departments within the company use it for their bulk email needs. Because a lot of my colleagues that use this service aren't very tech-savvy, we needed a product that was easy to use and intuitive.

- Dynamic content available on the drag and drop side
- Better reporting: Having the option to download a CSV report by campaigns instead of date, having the option to download a PNG of the graph, more graph options, ability to edit the graph's X axis to go from left to right and in order of send date instead of date created.

Iterable Is Amazing - Totally Recommend!
We use Iterable for all of our CRM needs. Iterable has so many features that make CRM easy and fun. We send a lot of content and needed a way to use to simplify the process without creating a new email template each time. So we created one template that is completely dynamically coded. Within the template, we are able to point to specific fields within our catalogs. We also use the collection feature to pull in the content to the template. Not only did the platform make it easy to institute this, but the support team was absolutely incredible. I definitely feel like Iterable does a great job at supporting their clients.
- Iterable has an excellent support group that is always willing to help. You definitely feel supported in everything that you do. You are never alone when you are building out new journeys or dynamically coding emails.
- I would say that the features that Iterable offers are great. If you can dream it, odds are Iterable has a way to accomplish it.
- Iterable's journeys are great. I love the tiles. The journeys offer a visual representation of the flow. It makes it easy to use and you are able to visualize the flow that you want to lead people through.
- I also love the catalog and collection feature of Iterable. We dynamically code a lot of emails and point to the catalog. The catalog feature makes it easy to send multiple content emails in each week.
- It is small, but I wish the templates had an auto-save feature.
- I also wish the journeys had an auto-save feature after updates are made.
- It can be a little confusing when updating a template within a journey. When you make edits to the template, it takes you out of the journey to the template. Then you have to save the template and then update it within the flow. It is like a 3 step process to make an update.
- I think that they have a robust way to track metrics. However, I still like taking the metrics out of the platform and analyzing them within Excel. However, it is super easy to export the metrics out of Iterable and analyze them.

Pleasant Experience with Iterable
I use Iterable for all communications to our users: email, push, and in-app. Iterable helps us easily reach different users for different communications in different forms. We are also using it to put users into workflows/journeys so we aren't having to actively send out personalized communications and Iterable is taking over the grunge work for us.

Big Iterable Fan
Our business uses Iterable as our main CRM tool to organize our clients, communicate with them and measure interactions. We use Iterable as a way to automate these communications in a smart and organized way through marketing and transactional information. Through the functionality of the tool, we are able to create some pretty sophisticated and personalized workflows which tremendously reduces the amount of manual effort needed.
- Drag and Drop Campaign Editing for non-technical clients (but still allowing highly customized templates)
- Advanced functionality available to the users in the tool should they have the technical skill sets - specifically thinking of API access to run more complex and thorough queries (which I have had with competitors but set up, access and management hasn't been as seamless before as it is with Iterable)
- Fantastic support - from the on demand support agents that are extremely technical (very rare in my experience) to our thoughtful CSM who is responsive and strategic.
- Constant beta opportunities and new optimizations. Having worked with many competing CRM solutions, I haven't seen a company as committed to rolling out new (and actually useful) solutions as frequently as Iterable does.
- Reporting - message insights provides an out-of-the-box solution which is comprehensive but not customizable.
- Testing - certainly do have this functionality and a tool to do this but I find it to be overly complex compared to competitors.
- UTM Tracking Parameters - the do offer this but only on a campaign by campaign basis; nothing that you can set up globally across the account which can be arduous for 3rd party performance (like google analytics)
- Bug Tickets - I've found quite a number of bugs through my extensive use of the tool. While support has been great about filing these tickets, I have no insight into when (or if) they are prioritized. I've had several bug tickets opened for months without resolution or follow up.
We are using Iterable as our marketing automation platform for our inbound marketing, as well as a communication tool to connect with our existing clients. We also help to provide consultation, demo, and onboard Iterable for our clients. Most of the clients are using Iterable to connect with their users through cross-channel automation journeys (email, push notification, SMS, in-app message), as well as blast messaging to their end-users.

Great Implementation and Works Very Well!
We use Iterable to stay in touch with our online communities and customers. We often have timely content available to our users and it's important that we let them know when it's available. Iterable helps us quickly alert users to this new content. We primarily use email messaging, but will explore web alerts and SMS messaging soon.
- The platform is simple to use and has great support.
- Software as a service eliminates our hosting and maintenance headaches.
- The APIs and hooks make it easy for us to populate custom events and data. We use this data to segment lists and personalize messages.
- We're keen to see developments in web alerts. The third-party we currently use seems a little more robust.

We use Iterable for email, SMS, and push notification marketing. It allows us to leverage datasets we've built around our user base to develop automated, multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs. We have newsletters, drip campaigns, and reengagement campaigns that we have been able to monetize to a great extent because of the tools built into Iterable's platform.
- Amazing drag and drop editor that allows us to quickly build out email and SMS campaigns.
- A really great journey builder that allows us to build out multi-channel marketing journeys that we can send users through.
- Great customer service with support available when something goes wrong, and an account manager we meet with regularly to address concerns and learn best practices from.
- As with any platform, there can be bugs after an update goes live.
- Some features, such as SMS and push, don't seem to be used by very many clients and are not as robust as their email features.
- It would be amazing to have a version history with the ability to revert to previous versions of an email campaign or template.

Iterable is easy automation
We use Iterable to automate our vehicle service follow-up, this reminds customers that their vehicle is due for servicing. We use it for lead follow-up to reengage leads that can be resurrected. We also use if for customer satisfaction, where a customer receives a survey and the ability to respond about their level of service.

Iterable is able to meet your needs!
We use Iterable to send email, SMS, and in-App and Push notifications to our customers both for Sales and Marketing promotions, as well as regular service reminders, thank you emails, and other customer retention type journeys. We handle several dealerships, so it allows us to replicate the same journeys across all our dealers, and yet still provide customizable options for each. It allows us to build custom segmented lists and filter and direct users down different paths based on their actions. We have found it to be simple to use in the setup of all these tools and do just what we need to.
- Snippets to easily drop in images or test etc across a series of emails and can change it in one quick and easy place when needed without going in and modifying each email.
- Journeys, allows you to build as simple or complex of customer streams that can be triggered multiple ways, and filtered and split easily to get them where you need to go.
- Templates are drag and drop option so anyone can build high quality emails.
- user ID as primary method for your database as opposed to email as users can have multiple email addresses.

Iterable is our email service provider. We also use it for SMS and web push. We have four regular daily users, each of whom has a different area of specialization within the tool. We use it largely to send consumers down highly sophisticated, dynamic, personalized email nurture journeys in a variety of categories (auto, home, senior, pet, finance, etc) to help them make great buying decisions. We utilize virtually all of Iterable's features, from custom events to the catalog/collection feature, to create emails that speak to each individual consumer at various touchpoints in their journeys. Since we aren't an e-commerce company, our use case is a little different than some other companies. We don't sell a product; we help pair consumers with other brands that meet their needs in a wide variety of categories. That means we need to have dozens of very different journeys for different consumers in different markets.
- It's very fast and can sort through and segment complex lists of millions in milliseconds.
- Though it is powerful, it has a very low learning curve and I feel like even beginners can adapt to using it right away.
- The UI is easy to navigate and understand.
- The account reps and support teams are responsive and helpful.
- The ability to select a piece of content in an existing template and turn it into reusable content with one click.
- It is not easy to preview an email campaign using data from a custom event.
- The journeys need a 'global exit' option rather than having to check after each step for a particular exit event.

Use it to send nurture email sends for our product team. Since Iterable can have multi-dimensional data, it also has the ability to program merge tags extensively which is very useful to send out extremely personalized emails. It handles data really well, on par with any well-known data warehousing tool. You can have multiple dimensions to any piece of data for an individual record.

We leverage Iterable as the backbone for our customer communications with it being completely interconnected with our ticketing system and website. This ranges from ticket delivery to our newsletters and all of the communication that we use with our customers pre and post-visit and includes email as well as SMS communications.

We were looking for a tool that would allow us to automate messaging to thousands of new and existing users. We use Iterable to automate emails when we have a new user sign up and to automate workflows when a user completes a specific action or reaches a specific milestone.
- Great at creating automated workflows that can be triggered by a variety of things.
- Great for people who don't know how to code. I can teach anyone to use Iterable and they don't need to be a developer.
- Constantly updating the product and putting out new features.
- Great support team and account team. They're always quick to respond and super helpful when we have issues.
- Occasionally run into little bugs with the layout when they launch a new product. But they're usually quick to fix them and it's nothing major.
