Reliable VPN

Juniper SSL Review
The product is being used for secure remote access by all the employees. We have more than one deployment of it, and we use it to connect to several internal environments. We also use it to publish some resources to external parties. With Juniper, you have two ways to connect (through the client or web portal) and we use them both.
- Very stable, it's not one of those products that require restarting from time to time.
- Policies are easy to build.
- Can be deployed on many platforms, cloud/on-prem, physical/virtual appliances.
- The central management tool is not mature.
- The option to connect before logging in using Network Connect is EOL, and the alternative is not good enough currently (requires machine authentication).
- The deployment was very quick.
- It improved security by using compliance checks.
- Access to resources by external parties was improved.
The F5 product was more complicated to manage and requires more time to get used to. Juniper VPN is simpler. F5 BIG-IP Access Policy Manager may be better if you need other side solutions like load balancing and GSLB. So, it really depends on your requirements.
