Customer and Tech support both for Jamf is excellent. They respond promptly, are very knowledgeable and polite. We have only ever had one major issue and it ended up being a hardware failure on an old on-site server before we went to the cloud deployment. Jamf takes pride in excellence in service!

Their support is awesome. You always have someone you can email or chat with regarding an issue, plus they have a JamfNation which is a forum/page for Mac admins to post to and get questions answered.

Jamf does a very good job of providing support. Depending on your needs, you may be better suited to buying a support contract if you are an experienced admin, because you will be asking expert-level questions that the front line desk can't answer. This certainly isn't unique to Jamf, though. 9 out of 10, because there's always room for improvement.

I haven't actually used their support much, but when I've had to, it's been ok. I've heard about other users having issues that take a while for Jamf to look at though so there might be some room for improvement.

We don't have much contact with customer support, because we simply don't need to. If we needed help at some point, Jamf has a huge community, driven by other users. Imagine a case, at least one other user had that problem before and can help. The community even creates scripts, etc. so that you don't run into any problems.

Jamf Nation is a hub of all Jamf Pro (and general Mac Admins) that post and help each other in a friendly community.

Access to this is completely free and I’ve always found the answer to the support questions that I have had. If I haven’t the question that I have posted has been quickly seen to by a community member. Due to this I've not had to use the Jamf Support.

By far the best customer support I have yet to experience. I had a database error and they spent hours with me to fix it, hauled in software engineers, managers and other support people to fix the issue that I had created and we fixed it. They are based in America, which for Canada and the US, is great and they do not read from a script. The support persons literally love working at Jamf and it shows in how they help you.

Jamf support is amazing! They have an excellent turn around time; I usually hear back from them within the same day. 95% of the time the technician I am working with initially can get me a resolution on my issue. If they cannot, then it is upgraded to the engineers and they work quickly to get a resolution.

There are several support options for Jamf Pro customers. They offer an extensive knowledge base of articles and videos as well as support via phone and video. The support staff at Jamf provide A+ support. Whether it's answering a simple question, troubleshooting a complex problem, or getting us back up and running as quickly as possible.

I may be spoiled by starting out as long ago as I did with support. At that time every account had a Technical Account Manager. That was who we worked with when we needed help, and we developed a good working relationship with those people. A restructuring meant that we just went into a queue and would get whoever we got. We got a "buddy" instead, and that person is kind of our liaison; they don't really do the technical side, more customer service. There are different tiers of support; if you do chat support you are chatting with people that are just starting out and the process can be lengthy and often results in you getting the information you could get if you took the time to just go on JamfNation to read a Knowledge Base article or a discussion post. Phone support is the next level up; they've been there a bit longer and are more familiar with where to go to look for the same info and are a bit quicker on their feet, but still not up to answering most of the technical questions I call in with. From there it gets escalated to engineering, and it can go up several levels. The people that were really good have been moved to Premium support, so you have to pay more to get to work with them. Support takes awhile and can involve a lot of going back and forth. The best bet is to ask to get on a call and share your screen so you can show exactly what's going on in your environment.

Support is always easy to get in touch with. They support email tickets and online chat. I find chat is the best as most issues get resolved within the interaction. Email is great for the issues where you may not have the time to chat with a technician.
The Jamf Pro forum is also a great resource for finding answers. Most issues don’t go f to the help desk because you can find answers there.

Really amazing support that employs amazing people. I did not have to contact support often as a lot is discussed on the Jamf nation forum, but every time I had to go to the support I got a quick result and if an issue needed support time for resolution, I was kept informed all along and I feel that they would not rest until the issue is fixed ;)
