Jobvite is a superior tool when compared against all the other acquisition tools I have used and definitely can say is the most user-friendly in my opinion. I enjoyed using it as an admin and as a user and would definitely recommend the product to anyone looking for an onboarding tool.
I have not used another ATS system.
- Canvas Diversity Recruiting Platform (formerly Jumpstart)
Jobvite is much better, streamlined, easier to use, and more reliable than the other systems I have used. Customizations are a bit easier, reporting functions are better, ease of use and learning is much better too. We selected JobVite because it works and is appropriate for our size of our company and for the work that we do within HR and recruiting.
I have evaluated many of the other ATS systems and found that Jobvite has always provided more for our business.
I haven’t used others. Jobvite is the tool that I have used across different jobs and so it’s really all I know. That said, I have heard good things about Greenhouse. Many of my peers in the sector have switched to them. So that’s really all I know about that.
I used ADP VirtualEdge and ADP Recruitment Manager as well as Workday at a past company. Jobvite has features I prefer such as being able to source resumes from our own database more easily and I love the self-scheduling feature for setting up interviews, it's a big time saver for me. I find the reporting and back end of the system more difficult to manage with Jobvite.
Canvas, the text recruit function was purchased and integrated into Jobvite and makes communication a breeze. I love that I can chat on my computer or my phone and when I am on a candidates profile can simply click on the extension to see where things left off. I have also used the Canvas features for hosting registration for events with their bot feature that allows them to text their replies and or responses.
I've used and implemented three different applicant tracking systems - Jobvite's implementation was the easiest of them all and the support has been great. The tool is robust and meets our changing business needs. We haven't encountered a process we couldn't make work in Jobvite. Very pleased with this ongoing relationship.
Blows Taleo Oracle out of the water. Way more user friendly for recruiters and applicants. Jobvite has many more features at a lower price point too.
Before implementing Jobvite, we had iCIMS and Kronos Workforce Ready. Neither of these products got us where we wanted to be with metrics, candidate experience, or technology. I'm sure since we left them they have updated, but we are much happier with Jobvite than others. In the process of searching for a new ATS, we attended demonstrations of 9 other applicant tracking systems and were most impressed with Jobvite.
Jobvite will in my opinion easily rise to the top. We had actually selected another system to go with and learned during the implementation phase that it could not do what we needed and wanted it to. In the end, we had to abandon the project and go back to an RFP. When that process culminated, Jobvite was very confidently at the top.
Greenhouse was a close competitor, but at the time (7-8 years ago) we felt Jobvite was ahead of the curve, constantly adapting, and had real recruiters working on their applications and workflows. They understood the landscape.
Jobvite is more user-friendly from a Talent Acquisition and candidate perspective. You are able to use with very little IT intervention. iCIMS has some capabilities, such as job library, hiring manager survey, external & internal job titles that I wish Jobvite had.
Jobvite provides a great solution that uses every function a recruiter needs, while not necessarily providing hidden fields and values that would create more of a rabbit hole. All the information for hiring managers is available to them via a one-click email rather than logging in and individually evaluating candidates. The ease of scheduling and rescheduling interviews is easy for our coordinators and managers.
- Bullhorn ATS & CRM
Overall, given the clean interface, each module that is powerful in its own right (Hire, Engage, Onboard, etc.), the robust reporting platform, and the incredible customer support, there is no comparison between Jobvite and other products on the market. Jobvite far surpasses the competition and continues to get better.
Jobvite easily beats all 3 of these. UlltiPro although branded as an ATS is not an ATS, it is a data repository and lacks everything I as a long time recruiter and talent acquisition manager would need to effectively do my job. iCIMS wasn't bad, but was more difficult to learn and navigate than Jobvite. Bullhorn was good, but lacked the evaluation form and interview scheduling features.
Changing ATSs is a substantial investment. Our purpose for reviewing another ATS was more to understand Jobvite's capabilities compared to competitors. We found they overall were very similar and I'm always able to work through an improvement with a customer service rep.
