What is Juicer?

Juicer is a social media aggregator that curates social media content from different social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram into one simple feed that can be embedded anywhere. The tool allows users to organize content into one platform and introduce visitors to a company's social side without having them navigate off the website. The user's feed is updated daily or hourly depending upon plan selected.

Within the Juicer dashboard users can add multiple feed sources (depending upon your package) and moderate and customize what gets featured on a feed. Juicer is designed for businesses, marketing agencies, individual bloggers, and event planners.

The company offers a free, Small plan and upgraded Medium and Large plans with extra feed sources and full moderation and analytics features.

Juicer integrates with 18 different social media channels: Facebook, Hashtags, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Youtube, Tumblr, Google+, Flickr, Yelp, Deviantart, Spotify, GIFY, BlogRSS, and Slack. They also offer a Wordpress plugin.

The vendor says over 60,000 people use Juicer along with the Golden Globes, Bon Jovie, and Princeton University.

Juicer is often used for websites, especially campaigns/hashtags or events. The great thing is that you literally within five minutes can create a website which is then automatically updated with social media content from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and many other social media sources, with no additional work, no CMS (content management system), and no IT-department and no coding needed. Especially great for marketing departments, event organizers, people operations/HR and the likes.
  • Content Curation: Juicer allows you to curate fresh content daily, hourly or (for events) even by the minute
  • Great Moderation Tools: Straightforward moderation. Delete any posts you don't want showing up.
  • Responsive: Looks great on all devices, including iPhone, iPad, etc.
  • There might be one or two social media sources worth adding, e.g. Tripadvisor.
Juicer is great for any campaign, hashtag, or event-related website. For example, we've created this website for a friend's event (the "Pirate Summit", and it looks like this https://www.juicer.io/pirate-summit). Also, artists use it a lot, for example, Bon Jovi's official site at https://www.juicer.io/bonjovi. You can also build a lot of stuff around it, and just keep Juicer's aggregated social media feed in an iFrame. Juicer is less well suited if you want to enable actions from social media, e.g. buying a physical product. In these cases, classic e-commerce shops are better suited.
  • It's very quick to deploy, so no IT/development costs (except putting in a small javascript, which takes 5 minutes).
  • Definitely positive ROI, it's much cheaper than other solutions which can cost some times 10x as much.
I've done a bit of web research, but to be honest, I have not used competitor's products, because Juicer was really much cheaper (at the same rate of functionality) than others.

Set it and forget it!

Juicer is used to feed social media content to our website. The Foundation website is one of five that we currently utilize Juicer to route social media content to for USTA Florida. Currently, the feed is monitored by myself and two others from the marketing team who ensure that the feeds for websites are properly functioning.
  • Juicer allows me the opportunity to set it and forget it so that I can use my valuable time to focus on other things.
  • Juicer has allowed us to seamlessly ensure that our social media feed can be found on our website and that it will stay up to date at any given moment.
  • I wish that Juicer had the ability to sort out posts that are similar so that when it pushes to our website it wouldn’t duplicate items that were put on more than one of our social channels.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to have the ability to set it and forget it, this is the perfect low maintenance tool. However, if you were looking for it to intelligently rule out duplicates on your social media posts to push only one of them to your website, then don’t expect Juicer to do that for you.
  • For us, there isn’t an ROI on utilizing Juicer. It’s something that we do to enable our donors easy access to seeing how they’re changing lives on our website. We’ve identified that many of them are older and don’t use social media, so we can get the information to them without having to take the time to make another post just for a website specifically.
  • We’ve received feedback from quite a few of our other donors that they appreciate the ability to see the items easily on our website thanks to Juicer.
I haven’t had the first-hand opportunity to try other platforms. Juicer was already being used on our other websites and therefore we’re now utilizing it for the Foundation.
