Good for their time, may have been surpassed by Cisco as of late.
The Juniper WLA and WLC [Series] hardware was used across our business for quite a few years as they went through revisions. We did move onto Cisco gear but the Junipers worked quite well for what we needed. We had a lot of dead spots on our wifi previously and these two devices fixed those issues for us!
- Great pricing structure
- Licensing was easy and straight forward
- Interface was quick and simple
- Bug patches were always a problem to do
- Support was rarely helpeful
- It seemed they stopped releasing fixes for many bugs we encountered so we had to live with them
