What is JustCall?

JustCall is a cloud-based phone system designed to help businesses get phone numbers (in 58 countries) and make, receive and track calls from a web app, mobile apps, or desktop apps. According to the vendor, it solves all the telephony requirements for an organization’s sales, support, and remote teams.

All outgoing and incoming calls are logged and recorded automatically - both in the JustCall system and in the user’s CRM/helpdesk system. Users can create custom call distribution rules and set up voicemail and a welcome message (in different languages).

The vendor aims to help businesses become more professional and save a lot of money, time, and effort by switching from desk phones to JustCall.

JustCall is a very good program for making and tracking calls and text messages. Through JustCall I can make calls to follow up on the complaints of customers and follow up on work requests at a very reasonable price on all these features, but it needs to improve the quality of calls to be a great program.

We used JustCall as an option to create an internal call-center (inbound and outbound) versus sourcing an all-in-one call center solution. JustCall allowed us to do this online and set up users to work from-home or from-office without the lengthy (and expensive) setup required with outsourcing to a 3rd party call center.

There is no doubt that Justcall is a good program with many features, but for me, it was not the best. It is easy to make calls and send messages. It also enables us to track calls and messages between us and our customers to review sales transactions. I think if the quality of the calls was a little better, it would have been a great program for me.

I decided to try JustCall.io because of its tight integration with Pipedrive, which we use as our CRM. It was being used by our sales and business development people. The main draw for us was its ability to allow SMS messaging to prospects and clients from within the Pipedrive platform. Studies have shown that AFTER actually speaking with a prospect, use of SMS is acceptable and in fact increases conversion to paying customers significantly when used correctly.
