Great product and even better support agents!
- It is easy to set up the virtual services with templates that are readily available.
- Once the setup of the virtual services is complete, getting the service to work is also, most of the time, pretty seamless.
- When all else fails and doesn't work, the support team is usually just a call away, and I've almost always had a good experience calling them for support.
- The wait time on the calls can sometimes be quite disappointing. I have waited on calls for over 30 minutes in the past before an agent answers the call.
- For some weird reason, every time a support agent starts a remote session, our call gets disconnected. And it can sometimes be a bit of a pain to call back and speak to the same agent, as sometimes we haven't been given a ticket number as well and will have to explain the issue over again to the new agent who picks up the call. This issue happened on this call as well. Maybe it'd be good to provide ticket numbers at the start of the call?
- Maybe it is the type of microphones the agents use or because everyone is working at home currently (mostly), but the voice clarity of the call could be improved, as sometimes its difficult to hear what the agent is saying.

Great move to more enterprise grade direction from a free-of-charge open source app
- Installation procedure
- Creating the configuration for HA

KEMP LoadMaster is a really good load balancer for a fair price
It's used for all our web servers.
It addresses the business problems of:
1. Having a single point of failure for email ingress.
2. Providing a simple, robust load balancing.
3. Securing inbound traffic.
- Easy to deploy
- Stability
- Good Support
- Well priced
- Lack of documentation
Kemp is a good partner?
- Support
- Load balancing
- Virtual services
- Log off button on the GUI
- Improve the graphical interface
- Kemp LoadMaster is much better for medium or large-scale environments
- Not as appropriate for organizations without qualified personnel
Value for money!
- Load balancing
- SSL offloading
- Web application firewall
- Balance throughput
- User Interface could be a bit more modern.
- Additional templates for other types of operating environments can be added.
- Installation & configuration is really easy. The web portal is self explanatory.
- The load balancing by Kemp for our exchange server is doing excellent job.
- The tech support is par excellence.
- The backup/restore feature is so simple. In case of failure, you can bring back Kemp in a short time.
- I enjoyed the live logs and reporting in TMG server, which i miss it here.
- The license file is locked with the MAC address. In case of restoring it on a different VM would cause issue.
- The Web portal is sometimes looks more complex and confusing. It can be more simplified.
If tech support is more important, Kemp is the solution. I have had fewer conversations with their tech support, and they impress me every time.
If you need more detailed live reporting then Kemp is lagging there. If you are using virtual server then the restore is easy except the license is locked with MAC so changing licenses might be an additional headache. I just tried to transfer my VM from one host to another host, but it locked it due to MAC restriction. I called support, installed new VM and restored my configuration. I was up in no time.
- Increased scalability.
- Added redundancy.
- Easy to use.
- Firmware updates could come from the cloud. Add update notifications.
- Pull templates from the cloud directly from the GUI.
Kemp: The best customer support
It addresses security and redundancy problems. We are using a cluster of Azure Kemp LBs for DNS load balancing for a redundant data center connected with the internet. The LoadMaster is checking the ports and will just give an IP for an FQDN if the service behind this IP is online. We also use Kemp LoadMaster as a security gateway for our exchange servers, to reduce security breaches like the one in March 2021. And last but not least, we use it as a content switching instance, so we can use one web server for many websites or avoid folders behind the FQDN.
- Reliable: We had no downtimes in the last 3 years.
- Great support: Everything you need to accomplish is just a call away.
- Easy to implement. There are templates for all used virtualization environment.
- Easy to adapt to your needs: There are many templates for the normal use cases.
- Help in other languages.
