The full picture of easy, intelligent UI usability, robust performance & availability, simple service provisioning, detailed and useful performance metrics and logging, upgrade/maintenance ease, monitoring, online articles & active communities and excellent paid-support earn this product high marks. The simple fact that the uptime of this system is over 99.999% through its 7+ year deployment is testament to the product quality.
-UPDATED APRIL 2021-
On the latest upgrade project from LM2400 to X3s I was able to get acquainted and leverage the X3's Console menu, including a factory reset as well as the CLI. Both performed relatively well with the exception of a 'stuck' HA configuration that was only remedied by cold booting (warm boot was not fixing it). Kemp Support, as expected, quickly harvested the logs after we worked through the issue so they could analyze the Root Cause in their labs since it was recognized as a possible emerging bug on their end.

Kemp makes it very easy to setup, configure and manage the LoadMaster without needing a lot of help from their engineers. The interface is very easy to understand and intuitive to use. We like how it is not complicated - I can easily have one of my techs login and they can figure out how to setup/configure virtual services for load balancing without needing a manual or tech support.

They provide pre-configured templates that can be downloaded from their support site. Takes a fraction of the time to setup. And support team is US based and once you call you will get a live person on the other end within less than one minute.

For the person that configures the kemp it is very straightforward, you really have 3 choices - click around and you can get to the end, use one of the configuration documents provided by Kemp which are very easy to follow and will cover any topic you have, or, my favorite, open a support ticket and talk with the Kemp tech. They will discuss your plan and help you configure it exactly how you want. For example you can run an SSL passthrough or not on many services. They can help you with deciding what works best for your environment.

It is easy to deploy new virtual services, and to troubleshoot issues with the provided logs. You can see real time statistics on what services are being utilized. It is easy to customize VS setups for each applications specific needs as well as subVSes. We recently upgraded from physical LoadMasters to virtual - very easy.

I gave the Kemp LoadMaster a 10 for usability, as I really like the GUI interface that allows for easy setup and monitoring of our system.
The GIU gives a clear picture of which devices are up and available and where the data is flowing to. As we upgraded our exchange / DAG to 2016 it was easy to [manage] both solutions as we moved over.

The product and documentation is very usable. I gave an 8/10 instead of a 10/10 because the GUI can be bit difficult. There are lots of areas where making one click will apply a change. There is no "save" button or "confirm" button. It can be easy to accidently change a production VIP because of this, so great caution must be taken. Other than that, everything is very intuitive and their documentation is very thorough.

Kemp LoadMaster usability is great, as it is very easily configured. The documentation is also very comprehensive, leading to most if not all configurations being perfectly doable without having to utilize their support or any other third party consulting, which I cannot say the same for all products in this category.

They have templates you can download and just import based on what you're needing it to do.
Simple download import and then update with your Virtual IP you need to share, and the servers you want to actually use.

This makes it very easy setup time, and usability makes it a breeze.

Usability is great. While the interface could use a tune-up, that didn't set us back at all. The best part is not having to worry about the product doing its job. Our team is not large, so not having to constantly log into the system is a big deal for us.
