Ultimate configurability vs standard controls.
There have been a few times. I know I have mixed reviews, but I was given great support a few times. They will actually play with your code (if you send it to them) and let you know what they see. I was building a mobile app using a container delivery method and I had a control that was very slow. They were able to advise me on how to make it faster after looking at what I was experiencing.

yes you Kendo
we once were in a very difficult rush time before a major release. we had a very specific and hard to develop scenario to implement with almost no time to do it. we were expecting a panic overnight development rush to solve the problem. we sent a support ticket before even trying to find a solution. even though he noticed that, and after we explained our desperate situation, the support engineer kindly gave us very useful help (that really wasn’t part of his support job) and saved us from last minute crashes

Good Development Tools
There was a bug introduced in an upgrade release which was freezing the application server. This issue had already been detected by the support team and a patch had already been available for download. That was an "intense" situation addressed quickly by the support team.

Kendo UI - an excellent product
I complained about a popup bar that continually popped up at the bottom of every page of documentation asking for feedback. I found this to be very intrusive and the popup could not be switched off. Progress listened to my complaint, adjusted their design to a fixed bar rather than a popup and let me test the fix to make sure it worked as I suggested. I was most impressed by their attentiveness, professionalism and thoroughness - top marks.
