Mimecast does not have a proper inventory of videos like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training.
Mimecast does not have animation based videos. Most of the users of my company like animated videos because it is east to understand.
Like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, Mimecast do not have a proper phishing test setup and you cannot test your end users on a phishing campaign.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has games and quizzes of high quality that Mimecast was missing.

Initially we were using Mimecast Awareness Training. Mimecast was totally different from KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. They do not have a proper setup for the awareness training. The training video quality and category was very poor. In Mimecast, you will get only human based training, no animated training is available for the users. They do not have proper topics to train the users. They do not have a phishing campaign category to test the users understanding. They do not have a proper setup of training campaigns as well. you cannot launch the same training to more than one groups until you do not delete the first training from the other group.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training's console is self service so we have all of the control on the content while Arctic Wolf is Managed so this takes the workload off of the corporation for scheduling. However, I appreciate the ability to evaluate the security awareness content to be provided to our end users. Considering KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the leader in this space it was an easy decision.

They're all pretty similar in my opinion, but KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the most user-friendly from what I've seen. The reporting is also a little bit better from KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training.

Although Cofense was a good product, years of limited updates of any substance caused us to look into additional products. We have reduced our time of needing to review phishing emails by almost 90%. For example, 800 messages delivered into our phishing platform resulted in 650 messages being automatically resolved and only about 150 needing manual review.

Knowbe4 overall has more functionality than the competition. The other items out there simply send some emails and monitor, but not to the extend this application does. That and the level of customer service you get, is FAR above the industry standard in this area. I've never once had an issue with anything that couldn't be solved by support.

Main reason was for the phishing simulation content, not all users get the same content, the content goes out at different times on different days and the targeted phishing element. The training content is also great and very intuitive with videos / games and you can create targeted training campaigns for the users that fail the previous campaign.

Proofpoint has a more streamlined product that tries to do to many things where Knowbe4 is a more specialized tool focusing on security awareness training without all the other IT tools and data.
