Integration with Active Directory makes user management seamless and extremely easy. New hires are automatically enrolled in training by virtue of the fact they have an Active Directory account. SSO makes it easy for users to navigate to various tools without the need for yet another username and password combination to create (or forget).

It makes it so much easier to maintain users - new users automatically get set up, terminations automatically happen. If an employee is on FMLA or short term disability or parental leave, we can mark it within the application itself and that is really all of the additional user management that we need to fill out

Having the provisioning automated makes for onboarding and offboarding of employees seamless. We have high turnover of employees for some of our departments and with KnowBe4 synced with our AD it is amazing to be able to ignore adding and removing employees from the console. If they are disabled in AD, they're archived in KnowBe4. The same with additions. They're automatically added to the console. We've even had a few employees return and it added them back.

These work well and have made provisioning easier. There is a slight loss in usability though since completing the training cannot be done as a separate task accessed only with credentials. It would have some value to be able to access training materials on the go on non-work equipment or downloaded locally to a physical drive.

It's great. Once we set it up, new employees are created in the platform and modules launched, and the best part as an admin is that I do not have to do a single thing. This is the way to go. Gone are the days of manually adding new employees or uploading lists. Same thing for employees that leave or go on leave. The fact that it recognizes our fields allows me to easily run reports for each of our regional offices.

The active directory integration makes things seamless. We don't have to worry about adding or removing users at all. We even have it setup to add new users into a beginner training course as soon as they are setup in AD. This all makes using KnowBe4 even better. I just wish more of our products were this intuitive.

We use Active Directory integration to make our life much easier. It integrates seamlessly and allows us to setup user training. This also means we can easily track who has completed the training that we assign out. I highly recommend their services and enhanced offerings like this to help with training.

We used to use ADI Sync with native Active Directory, but migrated to SCIM provisioning to enhance our syncing and control the unnecessary accounts that were getting sucked into the system with ADI Sync. This minimizes the number of account merges and makes it easier to manage the user sync.
We have not turned on SSO/SAML yet, but will be in the future.

he integration of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training with native Active Directory, SCIM, and SSO/SAML functionalities has been an invaluable asset in transforming our user provisioning and management experience. Specifically, the SCIM integration has proven to be a must-have element, streamlining the user provisioning process to a remarkable extent. With SCIM in place, we have witnessed significantly reduced manual efforts required for user onboarding and offboarding. The automated provisioning capabilities ensure user accounts are created and updated in real-time, reflecting changes made in our central directory system. This saves time and minimizes the risk of errors and discrepancies between user records.

Having an Active Directory integration is very useful with staying up to date with the environment. Without it, we would have to manually update all entries when new people are hired or employees leave. The SSO/SAML piece of it helped out greatly with the training portion. This made it so users do not have to learn another username and password just to access their training.
