Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The Konica Minolta bizhub series solves a lot of problems that we had with previous printers. It provides an all-in-one function printer, with functions for just about anything. My favorite feature of this unit is the bypass tray, which I use for address labels to send mailers daily through my workplace. It is simple and easy to use, and there are limited jams or problems found when refilling papers or supplies such as ink or toner.

I do not like the beeping sounds made by the printer when a job is done or haunted. Ours is on mute. A new sound effect would be nicer and not so stressful.
The velcro strips in the trays are poor quality and can cause the paper to not be fed into the machine.
The bypass tray secondary tray that folds out to catch the paper isn't the greatest quality and feels as if it will break or rip off when opening. To close, you do have to slam it.

Likelihood to Recommend

When printing postcards, simply copying, fast and efficient scanning, and printing staple-less booklets and folders. The Konica Minolta bizhub does a great job with any task handed to it, efficiently and quickly.

Return on Investment

All of our staff love the printer. It is easy to use and works efficiently for them compared to previous units.
A lot of staff members have easily caught on to how to print things themselves or fix simple issues such as a jam or it is out of ink or paper.
A lot of staff members have also figured out to be fluent with the print driver and learn the various features of the printer.
We like the easy-to-print Konica Minolta bizhub user log feature to keep track of billing to staff members when printing color sheets of paper.

Users and Roles

Realtors and staff members use the Konica Minolta bizhub to print off sheets of paper containing property information and contracts (some on legal paper through the bypass tray). The Marketing team uses the Konica Minolta bizhub to print off postcards, real estate listing flyers, and print letterhead paper and folders.

Support Headcount Required

A lot of the time issues are easily solved by watching the guide videos or opening doors and seeing if any issues have occurred during the print job.
