Four has been praised by users for its ability to automate the process of deduplicating accounts in Salesforce, saving time and promoting fairness among sales representatives. Users have found that Four cleans up Salesforce accounts to near perfection in under a day, reducing the headache of deduping. This not only saves time but also ensures that sales representatives are working with accurate and up-to-date account information, leading to more effective sales efforts.

In addition to deduplication, Four offers a range of other valuable features that have improved the use of Salesforce for sales and marketing teams. For instance, users have found that Four's lead matching and round 'ing features have led to a restructuring of processes, resulting in better lead assignment and increased conversion rates. By leveraging account information to qualify leads and routing them based on territories, Four has streamlined the lead management process and eliminated manual workflows. This has not only saved time but also reduced human error, ensuring that leads are assigned to the correct representatives more efficiently.

Some key use cases of Four include account-based lead routing, opportunity routing, engagement of unassigned accounts, SLA management, and soon-to-be territory routing. These use cases provide users with valuable help and guidance on how to optimize their Salesforce experience for maximum efficiency and productivity. With features such as lead-to-account matching, automated territory assignment, and SLA management, Four addresses specific business problems related to account distribution, implementation projects, assignments, and manual workflows effectively assigning tasks to the correct teams and business units. Overall, Four has proven to be a valuable tool for Salesforce users seeking to enhance their sales processes and improve overall performance.

Valuable Automation: Users find LaneFour to be a valuable tool that automates previously manual processes, improving efficiency. They appreciate the lead assignment feature, which facilitates easy distribution of leads to their team without manual intervention. The duplicate rules and analytics feature helps maintain a clean database.

Robust Lead Routing: LaneFour's lead routing and lead-to-account matching features receive high praise from users. They describe the conversion and routing process as easy and seamless, eliminating the need for coding. Users value the flexibility and power of the lead routing and dispatch engine, including features like SLA tracking and lead conversion.

Responsive Customer Support: Users highly commend LaneFour's customer support team for being responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and consultative. They provide quick responses to user requests, questions, and concerns. Users have a positive working relationship with the support team who are open to customer suggestions for improvement.

  1. Limited customization options for Slack Alerts: Some users express disappointment that the Slack Alerts tool does not allow for customized messages, as they would prefer more flexibility in the content and format of the alerts.

  2. Occasional downtime: A few users mention occasional downtime of the software, but note that these interruptions are short in duration. While not a major issue, some users would appreciate improved stability to minimize disruptions.

  3. Difficulty with setup and administration: Several users find the setup and administration of the software difficult, mentioning a high learning curve and lack of intuitive guidance. Although support is available, they suggest improving the initial onboarding process to make it more user-friendly and streamlined.

Users highly recommend getting a demo with their own data to see the tool's value. They believe this helps showcase the tool's capabilities and gives a better understanding of how it can benefit their specific business needs. Additionally, users recommend mapping out requirements beforehand for a smoother onboarding process. This helps ensure that all necessary features and functionalities are identified and implemented effectively. Furthermore, users suggest that the tool is worth buying as it has saved them a significant amount of time. We use Lane Four for internal routing - account distribution, implementation projects, assignments, etc. The business problems that Lane Four solves for are basically manual workflows being handled by the platform eliminating human error and assigning to the correct teams and business units to accounts and projects. For the most part this product solves the need intended.
  • Routing
  • Project assignment
  • Salesforce integration
  • Sometimes a project remains unassigned
  • Often there are routing issues
  • I don't get notifications if an account has been assigned to me
Lane Four is very well suited for high velocity sales, success, support and implementation teams. Using Lane Four helps our business units with organization and planning for onboarding handoffs and project management scenarios. It can be random at times and I often don't trust that it is distributing accounts and projects evenly across teams.
  • Time saving
  • Efficiency of routing
  • Less than ideal transparency for account handoffs
I have used LeanData at other organizations but was never involved in the buying process. Both tools are made to support similar use cases (routing, assignment, handoffs, implementation projects, etc.). I don't have any insight into how much these tools or others in the space stack up cost-wise or what the ROI is.
