Laserfiche has been able to fulfill our records management needs and has exceeded our expectations. We are in the process of upgrading from the United version to the Rio version. We believe that the Workflow and Web access features will help make our work products more efficient and effective.

We would renew as it is an excellent product. On the flip side, it is also benefical to be aware of other products on the market. We compare and contrast between Laserfiche and other software to make sure we are on the leading edge of resources for what works for our company. Laserfiche is held at a high standard.

We plan on renewing Laserfiche for the coming year but also have been considering a scanning and document management solution that can be purchased from our new accounting system company, we are implementing the accounting system this year. It will be a couple years before we make a decision to stay with Laserfiche or change.

It is very unlikely that we would use Laserfiche again given our current size. If the firm were to expand to 50 or more employees with a larger compliance and supervisory group, it would be much more likely we would consider Laserfiche. It's also important to note, that in this day of mobile systems and cloud solutions, having a solution that could operate in the cloud while meeting regulatory requirements would be considerably more attractive.

Whenever we need help with the system our reseller is always there for us. The Laserfiche Answers forums allow us to communicate with other Laserfiche users and get useful feedback from them and the Laserfiche team. Laserfiche is also always working on bettering their products. They are coming out with new releases on a steady basis.

The only factor is that Laserfiche is another cost when you look at annual maintenance. Some of the larger Enterprise Resource Systems (ERPs) have some of the similar document management and workflow features built-in, so there would need to be that cost benefit analysis done if a larger ERP was implemented.

I do not decide if we keep this product, but it does not seem like anyone at the Village has a problem with Laserfiche. Everyone has become fairly proficient with using Laserfiche and they do not seem to have any complaints. The program is used daily by many employees in the organization and it has been utilized in so many different ways.

I gave Laserfishe a 5 due to the fact the interface and user options could be improved. Laserfiche could possibly create the program to be more proficient in search terms and allow for more customized options so that users could tailor thier needs.

The support team at Laserfiche is great. They are quick to respond and can have the right person work with your team to fix any issues that come up. The other reason is our heavy use of the system has over half a million documents stored, totaling tens of millions of pages stored. Simply put, it would be very difficult to switch, but then again, why change from something that works great.
