It
is hard to pick just one single important feature to base our
decision. But usability would have to be at the top. If we could not
use the product for the types of applications we need, it would be
hard to pick the product. We needed to completely verify all
the functionality of the product.

Ease of use for the remote user was the single most important thing we considered. We needed to have multiple, non-technical, people at the remote site to log into the system and start it up for each class. We have never had an issue with remote users calling inot our service, never!

As a non-profit, price is always an important factor for us when purchasing new technology. When we compared Lifesize to other solutions, we found that usability and features were comparable, but the cost was quite a bit lower. At that point, it was an easy decision to make, and we have no regrets.

For us it was the fact we have been a Lifesize customer for many years. It was a logical progression for us to use their cloud based product when it was released. The fact that everything worked with our current hardware was also a plus. No further hardware investment was needed.

LifeSize - an easy, effective, and affordable option for domestic and international communication

The single most important factor was usability. At one point, we had a very expensive product in our offices that supposedly could do all sorts of things. However, it was so complicated that it was always causing problems. Even if we had a technician fine tune the system (at $150 an hour!), it wasn't long before someone attempted to use the system and inadvertently messed up the settings again. Finally, we went in search of a simple product that anyone can use without training. Something so simple that it couldn't be "messed up". LifeSize was the tool we settled on, and 18 months later we are still proud of the decision to switch to LifeSize.

I thought if the product worked like advertised this would solve a lot of problems where a member can not make it to a meeting in person as long as the reliability was great. We wanted a clear video and sound that didn't seem to come from a barrel.

Lifesize Video Conferencing in Law Enforcement

I think Usability was the largest deciding factor for us. The touch screen on the phone unit is easy to use even for non-techy, law enforcement types. The onscreen menus are just as simple and the remote isn't over-complicated. We do well with lots of big pictures. :-)

Balance between price, usability and scalability. It allows us to do a progressive implementation as money is available and benefits are seen by the organization. It is a significant amount of money, that you want to put in the right place.

Reading honest reviews from people who actually use the system is the best source of knowing the short comings. The sales group always makes things look easy and simple to use and some things are really that simple. Until you actually use a system it is hard to know if you made the correct choice. The reviews give you insight enough to ask more direct questions to a feature that may important to the system that you need to utilize.

Product usability was probably the single most important factor. We have employees state wide and this allows us to connect and come together without the travel costs. Prior experience as well as our existing relationship with our vendor (who knew this product would match our needs and had our best interest in mind) would be a very close second for us making this decision.

Prior to LifeSize Cloud, it was all about price and performance and features - video quality was amazing; the system was rock solid; the HD phone provides terrific audio. The Team 220 was a great solution and still stands up well. The integration of audio and video together and being able to have something like 40 participants attracted us to Cloud.
