Google Analytics is perhaps the best-known web analytics product and, as a free product, it has massive adoption. Although it lacks some enterprise-level features compared to its competitors in the space, the launch of the paid Google Analytics Premium edition seems likely to close the gap.

LinkNotions is a visualization software for complex phenomena. Researchers and teachers can use it in economics, ecology, medicine, psychology, sociology, history, etc. in order to visualize the links between the concepts (notions) within these fields of knowledge.
It may also prove useful for journalists and businesses.

I use LinkNotion when I need to create visual diagrams and charts. It's not widely used in my organization. I prefer LinkNotes over using Excel because Excel's charting is limited when you're trying to draw compelling diagrams. I find it also useful to draw system level block diagrams.

I think LinkNotion is well suited to make visually appealing diagrams. Super useful for presentations. I would say to do more traditional spreadsheeting exercise, I would default to Excel.

Return on Investment

I would say Microsoft Excel, Air Table and SmartRow are all valid competitors. Excel is great for preforming calculations and building large spreadsheets, automating monthly tasks. But Excel doesn't provide the visual appeal that LinkNotes does.

Alternatives

LinkNotions overall usability is not bad. I wouldn't say the software is exceptionally intuitive but it's easy to set up and get going.

I connected with customer support a couple of times throughout using LinkNotions. I found that it was easy to reach technical support. I find that the product works well and there's enough support articles online.
