Linnworks has been widely praised by users for its ability to efficiently manage stock levels and process orders according to specific requirements. By consolidating stock control, order processing, and purchasing into one platform, users appreciate the convenience of having all these functions in a single place. Additionally, Linnworks seamlessly integrates with other software and platforms, allowing users to synchronize their orders and stock across multiple channels. This integration feature has enabled users to access new marketplaces and streamline their order dispatch process, ultimately saving them a significant amount of time. With Linnworks handling tasks such as order dispatch and product listing, staff members have more time to focus on other goals, eliminating the need to constantly check stock or answer messages about over orders. The software's versatility as a central hub for multiple processes and apps has proven invaluable to many businesses. Furthermore, Linnworks' reliable inventory tracking capabilities and robust sales data capture have helped users make informed decisions about their business operations.

Attention to Sales and Support: Users have consistently praised the sales and support staff from Linnworks, with many stating that they were very attentive and helpful. Some users even appreciated the thorough scoping and onboarding process provided by the company.

Reliable Platform for Channel Management: Reviewers found Linnworks to be a reliable platform for effectively managing their channels. They mentioned that even after being live for only two weeks, they had an excellent onboarding experience.

Seamless Integration and Quick Fixes: Many users commended Linnworks for its seamless integration across multiple carriers and stores. They also appreciated the platform's ability to quickly fix any issues that arose.

Integration capabilities: Some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the software's integration capabilities, particularly when it comes to custom-built storefronts. They have found it challenging to seamlessly integrate their online stores with the Linnworks platform, which has hindered their ability to effectively manage inventory and orders.

Slow response time: Users have mentioned that the response time for queries can be slow. This delay in receiving support or assistance from the Linnworks team has caused frustration among some users who require timely solutions to their issues or inquiries.

Lack of demo account: Users have expressed a desire for access to a demo account before committing to the software. They feel that having a trial version would allow them to better evaluate its features and functionality, ensuring that it meets their specific business needs before making a purchase.

Users have made several recommendations based on their experiences with the order management system. The most common recommendations are as follows:

  1. Users recommend exploring alternative options with better pricing and support, researching and comparing different systems to find one that meets their specific needs in terms of cost and customer assistance.

  2. It is advisable to thoroughly set up taxes and configure all necessary settings in the back end of the system. Users emphasize the importance of ensuring that all details related to taxes and general settings are accurately entered to avoid any issues or discrepancies.

  3. Users suggest dedicating time to learn about the system and utilizing customer service resources. They recommend taking advantage of onboarding facilities provided by the platform to familiarize oneself with its functionalities. Patience during implementation is also advised as it may require time to fully understand and adapt to the system.

Overall, users find Linnworks beneficial for inventory management and order fulfillment. They also recommend seeking a knowledgeable representative for installation rather than relying solely on Linnworks' training sessions.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Linnworks quadrupled the price for no increase in service. Poor communication from start to finish and zero justification for the price increase. Linnworks gave us 1 week to find another provider and we did! Much better price and better service with more features - 1/4 of the cost Linnworks would now be charging us. In terms of channel management and WMS - They certainly do it but many do it much better and are more cost-effective. Their support is slow and they are in lagging in pace compared to other providers. They have zero regards for their customers and zero integrity. Avoid and keep yourself smiling!
  • Jack of all - master of none
  • Prints labels at extortionate cost
  • Charges you for every FBA order it doesn't fulfil

Would have recommended it 5 years ago, but now absolutely not a chance. Pricing is obscene and the service is appalling. Save yourself time and money by looking elsewhere. Linnworks has one advantage over other providers and that is their integrations with smaller eCommerce channels, this is not worth the money... You could employ someone for 5 minutes per day to pull smaller marketplaces onto a different service via CSV.

Linnworks is used within our company to fully manage our operations. It does every day to day task that is needed and allows us to run with less staff than would be required had we not had Linnworks.
Having experienced Linnworks in a previous job, from day 1 of starting my business I started out on the old free Linnworks account, and since then have upgraded to a professional account, which allows me to manage all of our stock on 20+ marketplaces, with a total stock level of over 40,000 items.
It keeps everything in sync, manages our invoicing and fulfillment, prints our shipping labels and marks orders as dispatched. I do not think my business would be where it is today.
  • Ease of use for both me and my colleagues
  • Manages all inventory on multiple channels and marketplaces
  • Simple method of printing invoices and shipping labels saves so much time and requires no manual input
  • I find Linnworks to be a complete system and cannot really think to add to it sadly.
  • Any questions or issues can be easily resolved by the support team
  • Linnworks is constantly expanding, which does cause some training challenges but all in all I have no real "cons" in Linnworks.
If someone came to me considering starting a business involving stock, being sold, I would definitely advise them to try Linnworks in order to make life so much easier. When I started out, as a one man business, it was LInnworks that allowed me to grow to a level that I needed to take on staff. I think that without Linnworks, I would still have a one man business.
  • Linnworks has allowed me to grow from a one-man business to a multi-million-pound international business with 8 employees.
  • Linnworks gives me the freedom to do what I want to do, rather than day to day tasks like managing inventory
  • The ease of use and addition of new users to the system makes new staff members easy to get up to speed with the software.
As I have used Linnworks from day one, I constantly get contacted by Linnworks competitors asking me to try their system, however I cannot see any reason to move from a software package that we are all comfortable with, to a different system. It would seem pointless to move to a system that does not have the full functionality of Linnworks.
