In this eight years of being Linode's customer, there hasn't been a single day we faced problem. Even the migration or maintenance activities have been planned, organised and priorly informed. Kudos to taking care of even such small metrics. Though the instances are unmanaged, the support team helps with relevant document links, or their own articles that help us to fix or solve the issues we face.

We are happy with the product, everything works as we want and we like to keep it that way. So there is no need to move anywhere else. We've been using Linode for many years now, I don't see us go. It provides everything we need for a good price.

One of Linode's key strengths lies in its ability to offer OS choices that may not be available with its competitors. This diversity allows users to select the OS that best suits their specific needs, whether it's a mainstream operating system like Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian, or a less common option such as Arch Linux, Fedora, or FreeBSD. Additionally, Linode regularly updates its OS offerings to include the latest releases and distributions, ensuring that users have access to cutting-edge technology and features.

We will continue our use of Linode, as it is so easy to use and affordable. In addition, the lack of vendor lock-in removes any fear for the future as we commit more into our use of Linode. Linode's purchase by Akamai has not negatively affected Linode either - their prices have stayed the same, and the only noticable difference has been the gradual branding update.

I've been using Linode for over a decade and do not foresee undergoing the effort to move to another cloud host. Everything has been running smoothly and reliably. Linode communicates clearly when upgrades or downtime are needed, and that is pretty rare. They continue to deliver great value for the price and they seem to care about how their customers are doing.

I have been using Linode for years and have yet to see anything better in the market that would motivate me to switch. I was a little nervous about what might change after Akamai acquired Linode, but so far things are the same or better, including the very reasonable pricing that Linode has always offered.
