We like Litmos and have had a good experience with it. In the past, we had a couple of issues with customer support or availability when we needed it. We'd also like to see more proactive communication, hoping that improves with the recent position.

Litmos LMS has been an invaluable asset for our organization's educational initiatives, catering to both our employees and the wider public. Its user-friendly and straightforward interface has made it accessible to a diverse user base, simplifying course navigation and enhancing engagement. Litmos has streamlined our course development process, empowering us to create customized content efficiently, with multimedia integration and seamless assessment tools. I would recommend Litmos because it has greatly improved the organization, structure and roll out of all our company wide training. It is extremely user friendly and our users enjoy the experience.

If you want an easy and mostly efficient LMS, Litmos is a great one. It lacks some of the more creative functions that other LMS providers can offer, but the price tag is much better for Litmos!

I lead my company's L&D team, and we create hundreds of proprietary trainings every year. Litmos is an easy hub to collect and assign these as the need arises. The platform is especially crucial to our onboarding needs. However, it'd be great if the site could connect to our company's Google suite for ease of assigning, as we depend on Google calendars to tout training events. Also, our decks and documents are created on Google and they change frequently, meaning that we have to create new PDFs to attach to a module when this happens.

Litmos is great for sales team members and people who use computers often. Litmos is not good for manufacturing team members who do not use computers often or have easy access to emails. The platform offers good content authoring but getting used to the system can take a great amount of time. If a resource is not fully dedicated it is hard to be successful. Reporting is very old and there are no easy view access charts that can help provide support for reviewing content and completions.

I am currently using Litmos for customer training, but have also used Litmos with a previous organization to manage internal training. It's so diverse and multi-functional, it is well-suited for both purposes. And it's by far the most user-friendly LMS platform I have ever worked with in my 15 years in corporate Learning & Development. Simple to stand up, fairly easy to administer, with a number of options available to organize data, users, and coursework to best fit your business needs. If you are managing the challenges that come with a lean and mean L&D team, this is absolutely the best platform in the market. The ease of administration combined with the Content Author Tool allows someone with very little LMS or online content development background to successfully create, house and deliver online training to practically any number of learners. The Content Author Tool is, in my mind, likely what truly sets Litmos apart from its competitors. To be able to create engaging and interactive online content without the need for a third-party authoring tool license or training is a game changer.

Litmos works well for the individual purchaser. This person purchases a course. The expiration date is by the course. In my experience, we are not able to assign courses via a team which affects the reporting for the team leads.

LItmos is well suited for smaller companies (under 1k employees), and allows us to choose packages based on our employee count.

It has been a struggle every step of the way to get our system up and running, and we are often having to do manual input and tracking because the ADP connector has had issues from the beginning. Putting in Litmos support tickets has not been particularly helpful in this area.

I think Litmos, understandably, has great content for bigger businesses and multi-national type organizations. It also seems to have excellent content for more typical business cases, but perhaps less so for things like our Technology team, and areas that require pretty specific technical skills. I think it likely is a wonderful resource for various compliance requirements, and I look forward to digging in further with those - from the HR perspective.

Litmos is a great option for any company that needs an LMS. It is easy to set up and use. It is also customizable which is a great feature and makes it more personable for your company. The gamification features are fun to use to engage learners. There are many integrations/features available to make it suit your needs.

The custom coding options make Litmos a highly desirable LMS for anyone who knows or is willing to learn CSS/JS. Combined with the standard features, you can create a compelling learning experience.

Themes to get people started would be a great idea e.g. light mode vs dark mode, different colours etc... The vanilla LMS could do with a UI makeover - global search from homepage, dynamic dashboards...

Great for a quick deployable solution when looking providing online training or content to users. It’s easy of use is unmatched and you can be up and going in just a few hours with your first course! This has saved us time and money and would absolutely recommend to anyone considering.

In my opinion, Litmos is not a best fit for organizations that require customization on a regular basis.

Litmos is well suited to serve up content and assessments for organizations that want to expose their employees/learners to educational courses, either at-will or by mandatory assignment, that may or may not result in documented certification. The platform also provides for a built-in hierarchy that works somewhat as a firewall to help segregate content if you're using a separate instance of the software for external vendors or distributors.

Litmos is a participation-based educational platform, not to be confused with a product knowledge/product info app and as such, the platform requires a great deal more management and organization than inputting data for quick knowledge bites on a product. Additionally, Litmos is not comparable to AI, which is an apples-to-goats comparison. They serve two entirely different functions in their current state.

Litmos is less suited for organizations who have strong requirements for a larger number of custom roles working in the platform. The available roles are cookie-cutter roles that don't always fit our needs which means a choice between security/data integrity compromise in some cases, or disallowing individuals certain access rights because they come with the cookie cutter role.

We had trouble with employees not completing their compulsory training such as health and safety, GDPR, etc. So we used the escalations function which automatically sends out notifications to the employees, then to their manager, and then to the topic sponsor which has meant that our compliance rates are now up in the 90% area which has improved across all compliance training.

Litmos does great for adding courses and sharing files. It doesn't really provide a way to let people download zipped storyline files, though all other files can be downloaded. It's a great platform, does great with rewards and letting people see what they have completed. We have created a userguide for internal use because it's not always an intuitive user experience so it's good to create a userguide for users to review how to download items, what the icons mean, and where to go for certificates, etc.

Litmos is great for a scalable training/onboarding/learning platform for customers and employees. It's probably overkill for a small number of users. It's well suited for a combination of courses and live sessions and can be a "go to" resource.

I found litmis to be very suitable in any company field where training may be necessary especially in marketing and sales department, IT field where new technology is discussed, account for net financing technology etc.
The advantage of this tool it can be customized to fit any company needs.

Litmos is very suitable in areas where training can be used like cooporstr training, technology and IT training. In our company we have used this tool in IT training where we have trained our fellow staff on cyber security fields.
Also I see this tool to be prospective in field of sales and marketing where staff can know various marketing strategies through proper training.

Litmos is well suited for medium sized organizations to setup a Online Training & Learning platform for their employees who can access this tool just with a stable internet connection

Litmos can improve on: having a simple UI & ability to customize deeper with more interactive quizzes

Litmos has been fundamental in bettering interactions between instructors and learners in our ourganization. Previously a lot of time was wasted in administering classes. By offering lots of courses related to IT we have been able to have more content to offer. Training has been made simple, fun and engaging!

Litmos serve many options and are truly the leader in this space. The pricing options give way to a multitude of use options. Whether a large company for all internal training or for someone like us using it to provide training options to hundreds of member business.

Front end or backend the ease of use and flexibility of the software lends itself to traditional and non-tradition uses.

Well, I cannot speak for their own content as we use our own. But, as far as that is concerned it is very easy to use "right out of the box" and requires little set up. We have set ours up and re-set it more than once, which is tricky. My best advice is to thoroughly think through everything before you begin as the structure you adopt can be tricky to change.

The platform provides dashboards and reports for executives to monitor employee progress. Despite some limitations like limited integration capabilities and support, I think that Litmos is a great LMS due to its ease of use, automation capabilities, and analytics tools. It also incentivizes our employees by tracking and rewarding their learning progress.
