We have been used the LoadComplete tool in our company lately to simulate traffic hits on applications. The main goal is to simulate the required number of customer hits the application at the same second. and to determine when system got crashed. Also we are using the tool by our department only ( Quality Department ). So after any DB Migration or new Release we need to run our scripts to verify that the customer performance requirments are met expectations.
  • Very detailed documentation, easy to support
  • Running my test on Cloud
  • The reports graph are very clear with logs and errors found in the report manel
  • Record and Play Feature
  • coding is not an optional in the loadComplete scripts
  • the tool is too slow after exceeding 1000 Concurent users
If you are testing an application and you don't have experience in performance testing, this tool will help you to test the load with some documentation help. It's very easy to use. and if you have complex scenarios to determine the coding and adjusting graphs, the LoadComplete will not be a helpful tool for you.

  • The Reports Generated are very clear and descriptive
  • its a tool for both amateurs and experts, so it a quick win for beginners to use
  • Negative : its expensive
Most of Load testing tools are similar, But Load Complete is very easy to use and the GUI is good enough and comfort for the eyes.
Despite JMeter has more features for Complex Scenarios (for example Scripting ) and is free to use, but Load Complete covers all the Quality Aspects Needs in load testing.

LoadComplete is a load testing tool that is used for evaluating the load testing process. I have been using LoadComplete for a while now and it is the best for test automation. We also have been using LoadComplete for generating traffic in our overall applications. The most common task is to check how an application works after one or some components have been changed.
  • We have been using LoadComplete in the Tech Department. I usually use LoadComplete to test the speed and loads of several applications we develop in-house.
  • Moreover, we have also used LoadComplete to create reports and at the same time report any issues that we notice during a certain load.
  • It is an affordable platform.
  • LoadComplete has a lot of good features which has made my life so much easier so there are many pros of this tool as well. It is quite easy to use and comes in very handy.
  • Some of the cons of LoadComplete are that it gets slow when the size of the test increases. Also, the coding is not possible with LoadComplete.
  • Moreover, it needs to support flexibility for a framework that can be customized based on the needs. Also, some graphs remain empty which is confusing for me as a user and I would like a description of why a certain graph cannot gather data.
I think that LoadComplete is adequate when you have Testcomplete. If LoadComplete is not paired with Testcomplete then there would be a bit of a learning curve. People who are already using Testcomplete will find it easy to start with LoadComplete but the tool itself has a lot to improve and support customization to suit our needs.
  • Efficient reporting.
  • Data security.
  • Automation is smart.

  • This tool always yields eye-catching results. It has good support from the documentation. Also, it generates detailed reports which is a very good thing.
  • There is also a record and play feature in LoadComplete which means all applications can be recorded like Applications Servers’ Metric and so on.
  • This tool has a good reporting and record playback due to which I will recommend it.
It is one of the best platforms. LoadComplete is all over a jack of many traits. It provides us a detailed report to our system analytics as well as developers. Moreover, there is also a smart built-in data correlation in LoadComplete which helps to correlate different parameters like user session IDs, authorization tokens, and so on. Other than that, LoadComplete also has the ability to run tests in the cloud.

LoadComplete is used to evaluate the load testing process. We already had TestComplete for test automation so we started to use LoadComplete for load testing.
  • Easy and handy UI options to select
  • Good support from documentation
  • Eye-catching results
  • Slow when the size of tests increase
  • Coding is not possible
  • Need to support flexibility for a framework that can be customized based on needs
If we already use TestComplete for test automation and there is an urgent need to perform load testing, then it is easy to start with LoadComplete but the tool itself has to improve a lot and support customization to suit our needs. I would say if load testing is the main criteria to use this tool, then there are other open-source tools like JMeter that can support better than this. Of course, as it is an enterprise tool it has very good reporting and record and playback options that I see as an advantage for basic users.

  • ROI is a different factor to consider.
  • Not a great tool for load testing if that is the real purpose.
  • JMeter being open-source can easily yield good ROI compared to LoadComplete.
JMeter being an open-source tool has the advantage of no cost to purchase the tool. Of course, to work in JMeter, the tester needs extensive knowledge on the tool to create a framework but LoadComplete has the advantage there as it is easy to start with and does well if the purpose is only basic load testing.
Customer support is good. If any concerns are raised, they are usually resolved soon, but when questioned about a feature LoadComplete does not support, it usually takes more time to resolve.
Usability is really good because being an enterprise tool that might be an easy option to convince users to try this tool. It has a lot of easy-to-use, cool options.

We use loadcomplete in the QA and Tech Ops department. We use it to test the speed and load of several applications we develop in-house. We use LoadComplete to create reports and report any issues that we may notice during a certain load. As we develop new applications to update our old ones we will be using LoadComplete from day 1 to make sure our new application does not cause any performance issues to our server as well as have the best experience for our customers.
  • Able to generate detailed reports.
  • Displays graphs during load testing to show the user (Performance Engineer) where a bottleneck occurred.
  • Ability to run tests in the cloud.
  • Port test scripts from TestComplete.
  • Some graphs remain empty, I would like a description of why a certain graph cannot gather data.
  • Allow user to customize the graph.
Loadcomplete is well suited if you have testcomplete. The ability to port over automation tests to turn into Performance tests is one of the best features the company can offer. With the proper training anyone can use loadcomplete, especially if you write your own scripts.

If loadcomplete is not paired with testcomplete, there could be a bit of a learning curve. One feature I don't like about LoadComplete is the lack to write your own scripts. You must do the play back, record and update several variables if you are to have dynamic tests.

  • Negative: Licensing fees are too expensive.
  • Positive: Able to generate and present reports, Able to show developers where bottleneck shows up.
  • Positive: Easy to understand software to train new users.

We chose loadcomplete because we already use SmartBear software for other automation solutions. Porting over test cases is easy and a user can have a test up and running within minutes. I do wish SmartBear would have better support and I haven't used any other testing tool in a while to make a comparison.

We use LoadComplete to generate traffic in our applications. The common task is to check how an application works after one or few components were changed - e.g. after migration to a new database or after a new module was connected to the system. Our QA Department does control of performance changes and provides a detailed report to our system analytics and developers.

As a little bonus, although LoadComplete is not a tool for API testing, it can run API calls, and sometimes it is rather helpful for us.
  • Smart built-in data correlation. Automatically helps to correlate different dynamic parameters like user session ids, authorization tokens, db-identifiers and so on. Works very fast and save your time for test development.
  • Record & Play feature - LoadComplete can record application servers' metrics like CPU and memory usage.
  • Rather slow work with logging, especially on long tests. Test logs can occupy a big memory space.
  • Coding is not presented in LoadComplete, we can use only predefined features, so we have some limitations in test development.
Good solution for fast development of load tests, especially for staff without programming skills.

  • Many built-in features (like auto data correlation, load distributing etc) will save time for development.
JMeter is a more flexible tool because it gives the possibility to write scripts.
