- Webpage and Information Management- It's straightforward to navigate and to allow a single source of information to easily be placed in multiple areas of the intranet without creating multiple versions of files. Further it has enabled us to use the same piece of information across business lines without creating multiple copies of a document or webpage.
- Simple webpage design- The program is very easy to use and edit allowing for multiple page owners across different sectors while still being able to managed by a overall by a small team of users. It sacrifices some robustness of customization for simple use which makes it much easier for multiple users to control the information and manage the product as a whole.
- Great User Community and product assistance- The product keeps growing actively and gets better. The company itself is great at communicating with its clients about future roll-outs, initiatives, and updates to their product. They also have a robust knowledge base that is easy to understand and allows for quick answers to questions on how to use the product. Their Customer Service team also works diligently to solve problems with the system and communicates frequently with it's clients if their is a problem to help quickly resolve issues.
- Integration- It has integrations with other products, but they are not always the best. The integrations do not always have the best functionality and are sometimes buggy. It's integrations with Microsoft is good, but it can be improved. It's integration with other products I feel is lacking and could be improved in its presentation.
- Lack of customization- To have ease of use, it does lack customization. It has standard tools, which are great, but going beyond standard is difficult at the easiest to impossible at the worst. Overall I do not mind this because what it offers is robust, but it is a cautionary tale to those more interested in customization over a solid product.
- Calendar Functionality- It does not have great calendar functionality. Setting group shared calendars is difficult and is an area of communication I wish the product would improve.

- With a variety of widgets in the library, LumApps allows content creators to be successful whether they are novices simply elevating a communication or UX designers creating a space for people to come back often and visit.
- LumApps allows non technical administrators, without coding experience, to manage a platform with ease.
- LumApps provides push notifications and a simply newsletter tool for communicators to send reminders to their audience in a variety of ways.
- Mobile App is a star and comes with the contract....although we purchased a custom build.
- LumApps does require some training...I describe it as a high-powered google site (therefore not as easy); so you will want a demo before diving in.
- Analytics are always what customers want, LumApps is making strides in this area; but it is not just the numbers...it is helping your customer tell the story that is the most difficult.

- There is still some room for improvement with navigation, but that might be more about how our sites and pages were developed.

LumApps was the best intranet platform we found and have now implemented it to be used at Armis!
- Widgets are easy to use
- easy to mange users/permission with the use of labels and groups
- ability to create sub pages allows for scalability
- Widgets not are users friendly or easy to use. They work, but you have to know what you are doing
- Integration with IDP i.e Okta can be improved. There are some missing features like pulling Profile pictures
- We are unable to resize users profile pics
- Highlights important news and information
- Integration with Google
- Their client service and support is exceptional
- LumApps provides historical analytics and best practices to help make the right decisions

- Very tedious and difficult to customize the page in terms of alignment, borders applying graphics
- The domain customization is still missing (the url says sites.lumapps.com/xyz)
- The communities can be better specially adding videos with thumbnails.
- News and articles can be made visually more appealing in terms of effects. (Scroll, bounce, fade, slide, etc)
- Copying and pasting already created page into different section is not possible

Easy Authoring of Basic Content, But Will Beef Up Your Tabular Data Offering and Help Documentation!
- Automating the seeding of content throughout the site via content widgets and metadata
- Flexible page layout options that enable templated pages but allow authors to customize them
- Easy application of styles that conform to the firm look and feel standards
- Management of data-intensive content- LumApps had partnered with AwesomeTable but that company was unable to provide ongoing services to our firm. LumApps should consider developing at least some of those native capabilities.
- Styles are not customizable- things like cell padding cannot be altered for specific instances.
- We've had to develop workarounds due to poor search results for specific portions of content (used a content list and filter but results, while better, still not optimal).
- Support- help documentation on LumApps is poor and outdated and our support package is limited- which means we must figure things out for ourselves or give up.

Solving a Knowledge Base Issue With LumApps
- Integrations with other sources (Okta, Google, Zendesk, Salesforce)
- A lot of possibilities to create a good template for the content that we want to share
- A community feature, so people can interact about some topics in common.
- Backups and bulk content (import , export and update)
- Roles and groups more easily to use
- More granularity about what permission a viewer use can have, a writer, an administrator, and so on.

Solid intranet for technical users.
- Several Widget Options - lots of tools to build pages.
- Org Chart - Org chart is nice as long as your Google Workspace environment is accurate.
- Flexibility in site layout allows you to customize to your organization's needs.
- The editing user interface is a bit wonky and occasionally glitchy.
- The back-end options are not organized super well, which can make it confusing to find the right settings.
- The customization options are somewhat limited without advanced CSS/dev skills, and the basic functions can be a bit challenging for some non-technical users.

LumApps is a central home for over 10,000 employees.
- I can see the page metrics for the pages I create.
- I have the ability to manage content on my own pages fairly easily.
- I can integrate media including images and Google Slides.
- Hard to include video on a page because the video needs a URL.
- It is a little hard to learn but that could be because of the way we have customized the editing tools.
- The search tool doesn't always give good results but that might be because of the way that we have integrated it into our google platforms.
- Offers simple addition of custom content types that give the ability to apply different access and distribution levels.
- The HTML widget allows for the simple removal of WYSIWG tools to simplify the view for content contributors.
- The ability to rearrange layouts is very simple.
- A lot of the documentation is lacking.
- The support is not extremely helpful.
- The settings for many things are not clear.
- There are many tools in the platform that have unclear behavior.
- Templates are not recursive, so when a template is modified the content using that template will not change
- The WYSIWYG editor auto formats HTML which is unhelpful when trying to embed code.
- The notifications are not consistent.

LumApps has its issues, but is a good tool.
- The freedom we have to create pages, how we create them.
- The possibility to adjust the CSS as we want, this makes some things easier for us.
- The way we design pages is not intuitive at all.
- The global widgets could behave like components, for example, if I create a button as a global widget, it could at least be possible to change the label of it, this way we can reuse better this widget.
- Recently we noticed that the search only shows us results of the site's main language, so if I search for content that is in Portuguese and the platform is in English, I couldn't find the content, this is really annoying because we have a lot of content in other languages.
- Adjusting the link of a widget is way better than use the button widget.

LumApps helps us centralize policies and procedures
- White-label and brand content – and for the entire website.
- Manage user permissions for content creation and updates.
- Separate official content like policies (pages) from ephemeral updates (news).
- Simplify content creation. Users should know what each button and widget does without asynchronous training.
- Simplify standardization. LumApps provides endless customization options. We wanted to standardize our look and feel across our internal website. But there's not a simple way to require that across all content.
- Uplevel some metadata features. Ex: if you draft a page with a URL then delete that page, you can't use that URL for any future pages.
