The recent changes implemented by Meta regarding payment processing used by Facebook Fundraisers for non-profit organizations caused a large amount of difficulty for our team. Blackbaud Support has been excellent in providing us information and support to work through this, in spite of having limited communication from Meta.

Very, very powerful. More than a little complicated.
We recently had to get help getting PayPal added in as an option. We were connected to Will Hull, who is a Blackbaud Luminate Online SUPER STAR. He was so helpful, and while it took quite a bit of time, effort, and work, we were able to get it done. He REALLY knows his stuff and is so helpful.

ilLuminating our Potential
Recently, we had issues with Luminate communicating with our ACH provider. The cost of what we would have lost was substantial so we needed this issue resolved quickly. We reached out to our support at Luminate and he was the one to offer us our new solution to the issue (which was using a new ACH provider for all new ACH transactions and waiting for the older ACH provider to fix their issue.)

Luminate - easy online email marketing
We recently were trying to get an email invitation out to a group of donors when we realized our event rsvp button wasn't working all of a sudden - even though it had been working fine in the past. Quickly hopped on chat support, they popped into our event to take a look and discovered the issue was because we had a developer working on a new page wrapper which was the same one being used for events. Even though it was out of their scope, they pointed us in the right direction and we were able to have our developer go in and fix the error they had created and got our email out on time!

Ruminate about Luminate
The one time was when I was implementing PayPal as a payment method. Of course I was dealing with someone not from he support team. The rep was very helpful and responsive. She helped me work through my questions and it has been working great since implementation. The different teams of Blackbaud all operate differently with some being better than others.

Luminate - Good for some, but not for all
We have a fantastic customer success manager. He is the shining star who has taken care of things and gotten us what we need in a timely manner. Before he was assigned to our organization, it felt like we couldn't get anything that we needed. But, he has made a huge difference in making the experience more pleasant.

I can't think of one.
Nearly every time I've used the support chat function I've had really great, prompt responses and appropriate follow through. I've been very impressed by this.
