Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Compared to rivals like Constant Contact or Benchmark, Mailchimp boasts more robust testing capabilities. Its intuitive interface and wealth of integrations also make it ideal for streamlining marketing stacks. While powerful, alternatives like HubSpot may offer deeper functionality for enterprises.

Mailchimp is more suited to subscriber communication while Mailshake is preferred for cold email outreach. The database functionality in Mailchimp is superior to that of Mailshake. It's also easier to segment audiences and update contact information in Mailchimp. Mailchimp has dynamic content and formatting options whereas Mailshake only allows basic text.

Mailchimp is a great tool for smaller businesses and businesses just starting out. It is easy to learn and generally have very few glitches. SharpSpring was very hard to operate and the EDM's we created looked clunky and dated. My company have just started moving over to HubSpot as we feel like we have outgrown Mailchimp in some business areas.

Mailchimp is the better choice for small businesses, but it starts to lose its power and luster when you scale and want more power, features, and email-focused reliability. As a jack of all trades, it gets the job done—but it's now the email powerhouse on the block.

The free plan of Mailchimp works well for middle and small scale businesses. It offers a rich library of email templates and powerful analytics to support the lead generation and brand awareness initiatives of the organization. Customization of templates is a piece of cake altogether. It is very easy to drag & drop the elements to create newsletters in a professional style. Mailchimp also offers us detailed analytics on the performance of campaigns, so we are able to strategize our marketing approach & work closer to optimize the conversions.

I would say that Mailchimp is better than MailerLite in terms of its abilities. It has the capacity to do more than simple newsletters but does hit a cap fairly quickly. It is a much more affordable price point than ActiveCampaign and Hubspot. It also has wide adoption so lots of people are familiar with it and can use it easily.

We haven't used anything else except to look over a client's shoulder with their system.

It seems like Constant Contact was in the same space of having a poor interface and analytics, dated templates, and built more for promotional email. I think they're both improving, and for very small clients, I've found that Mailchimp's free tier is nice to have.

I think hubspot is a lot better for automated emails requiring business logic and more complex requirements, which is generally what i do. however if you are sending out more straightforward email marketing campaigns for a newsletter, product updates, or otherwise already engaged base it might be better for your use case.

MailChimp is definitely more robust than some of the simpler email tools like EmailOctopus and MailerLite, though it doesn't stack up to other email marketing and automation systems.

Yes, Mailchimp was much better when we evaluated different products due to the use case and pricing. Managing email subscribers and lists is super easy in Mailchimp and I can easily segment using filters. Our use case was to integrate with the product and that process seems to be easier as well. After evaluating on all these factors, we choose Mailchimp and felt happy about it in long term.

It's better for the average campaign requirements. Some projects require more advanced features and we use other tools for those. For example, making an system email that needs to be white-listed and then send system emails from it. For that we used Mailjet, sendgrid and other tools based on the project locations around the world.

Mailchimp is a means to an end and a way to stay within GDPR laws. We may not use it if this wasn't a requirement. Other platforms are better for design or management of contacts, but Mailchimp offers that secure storage of data that is required. I have not tried other bulk mail applications, so am unable to compare these.

Mailchimp is similar offering but ability to send transactional email from Brevo/sendinblue is definitely a step up. We have been with mail chimp for quite some time and mostly the familiarity of our users with Mailchimp is the reason for us to still use it. We will be comparing other similar products to see if we can get something with better value.

The other products I have used are cumbersome and overly complicated. I can do what I need to do in Mailchimp and train someone else very easily. Even with the ease of use, I am not limited in functionality.

After switching to MailerLite, I noticed a big shift in usability. Even though Mailchimp has all the features that you might want in an email marketing program, the simplicity of MailerLite makes it a lot more workable.
Especially if you need to make some quick changes or have to create unplanned events or campaigns, you notice the speed that you could be working with in MailerLite. This does not feel the same in Mailchimp, as mentioned before.
If you are unsure between these two, you can sign up for free accounts on both, and try them out for a few months to see what fits your business needs.
