Comprehensive Features: Users have appreciated Mailchimp for its wide range of features that facilitate email marketing and audience management, making it a versatile platform for their marketing needs. The variety of tools available such as list management capabilities, customizable templates, and detailed reporting features help contribute to an all-encompassing experience for users.

Intuitive User Interface: Reviewers have found the user interface of Mailchimp to be intuitive, enhancing the ease of creating and managing databases with tags and groups. The visually appealing layout coupled with straightforward navigation has been commended by users for simplifying tasks like email creation, audience segmentation, and campaign monitoring.

Valuable A/B Testing Feature: Some users have highlighted the valuable A/B testing feature in Mailchimp that allows for refining emails through testing different subject lines, preheaders, and send times. By providing insights into subscriber engagement preferences and optimizing content performance, this feature empowers users to make data-driven decisions for successful email campaigns.

Cumbersome Journey Duplicating Process: Users have found the process of duplicating journeys for different audiences to be cumbersome and time-consuming, leading to a desire for individual templates instead of duplicating entire journeys. This inefficiency in journey duplication hinders their workflow efficiency and customization options.

Clunky Interface Design: The interface of Mailchimp is frequently criticized by users as clunky, dated, and cluttered, resulting in difficulties with navigation and email layout organization. The outdated design elements contribute to user frustration and hinder seamless interaction with the platform.

Costly Pricing Tiers: Many users express concerns about the costliness of Mailchimp's pricing tiers, particularly startups and those on commercial starter plans, due to some features that were previously free now requiring payment. The shift towards paid features impacts budget-conscious users and may limit access to essential functionalities for smaller businesses.

We use Mailchimp to distribute a weekly email newsletter for approximate 1000 subscribers. We use the newsletter to keep our company's name and services at the top of mind for three different groups of constituents. We add subscribers anytime we engage new potential, future, customers, partners, and internal/external staff members. The goal is for our newsletter to help us (mostly passively) build/extend our network in order to grow the business.

Mailchimp allows us to communicate with prospective students on a mass scale, as well as develop personalised 1:1 Lead Nurture campaigns. Through the use of integrations, it has streamlined our marketing and sales processes, allowing the team to focus on the quality of their dialogue with leads.

I use Mailchimp for both promotional purposes and for monthly newsletters, information, etc. Mailchimp allows me to sort and filter through my subscribers so that I am able to send specific emails that target various customers. In addition to being a great way to communicate with my clientele, it also serves as a sort of database because of all of the options to put people in different audiences, tag them, etc.

We use it for email blasts. We are an auction house that sells online primarily. We like to email our clients before an auction to let them know what kind of items will be featured at auction. We also use it to let our customers know that we are accepting consignments.

We're a market research organization who uses Mailchimp to communicate with our database of research participants. We send out updates concerning new or upcoming research projects, we send out newsletters and information update requests. We often use outside software for our surveys but when they are not complicated, we'll launch surveys within the platform and then use the reporting capabilities within Mailchimp.

We often need to send out email messages to large groups of recipients. When we've attempted to do this through Outlook or Gmail we've run into problem with server limits. Mailchimp solves this problem and makes the mass emailing process easy. Emails we generate through Mailchimp are also far more visually appealing than those we've made via other platforms.

As a marketing coordinator I use Mailchimp to send out EDM's to our clients and data base of agents. This could be on topics such as new projects, current H&L offerings, promotions and general news letters. I like the drag and drop function when building emails and how easy it is to pick a segment to send to. It can be a bit glitchy when copying in large blocks of text from another source but it is fairly easy to work around.

I use Mailchimp with some of my website/startup projects because of its generous free plan. It gives me plenty of space to build up my email lists before committing to a plan. It's easy to use, and the dashboards and user interfaces are super easy to use for marketers or even those brand-new to email marketing.

As of now, we use Mailchimp for its list management, signup forms, welcome emails, and basic newsletters.

Mailchimp has given a significant boost to our customer engagement and brand awareness. It is terribly amazing with its powerful analytics & well- designed templates that are also optimised for mobile devices. It has substantially helped us to strategise & fast track our email marketing approach. The email builder allows us to drag & drop the elements, themes, text and create unique & and relevant mailers in a professional style.

Mailchimp is mostly used for massive edm campaigns. It's the most cost effective tool for us when sending over 5k emails at once.
The drag and drop modules allows our team to work on different comms at the same time, without having to rely on a specific design or having to wait for someone to code it.

Mailchimp is a fine email marketing platform if you want to implement simple email marketing. Things like simple newsletters or basic autoresponders. As soon as you start getting into more complex automation, Mailchimp is lacking. The journey builder doesn't have enough branching ability or trigger abilities, and the automation that can be built is relatively basic.

We publish two weekly newsletters that we fulfill through MailChimp. The list management functions work perfectly fine. People are to sign up or change their preferences without issue. We never get non-delivery complaints, and that's a big deal.

Mailchimp is a rock-solid performer in the basic functions of getting a newsletter into subscriber email boxes, which is all we use it for, and that's why we haven't really considered alternatives in so long.

I use Mailchimp for e-newsletters to keep in touch with customers. Also used to promote upcoming events and special contests. Need to keep top of mind and share info about new things with our list of past customers and those that just signed up for more details. Also reminders that an event is coming up soon.

We use Mailchimp to send community newsletters and marketing related materials (non business docs). It works well for us because it is a light lift in training, allows us to connect other products that we use and we can easily send out nice looking pieces. We really needed a product that our volunteer board could use to engage with our members and encourage involvement in events like parties and get togethers but also work to set up things like neighborhood clean up days.

We are using Mailchimp for email marketing and website automation. Using its drag and drop editor, the marketing team and the customer teams are able to quickly create responsive email designs and then blast it to the relevant audience by quickly uploading database of audience emails into the platform. The platform is very easy to use and offers deep analytics capabilities. Similarly, we use it to create landing pages for the campaigns and test and analyse their performance.

I use Mailchimp as my primary email marketing tool. For small business startups it may not be possible or within the budget to invest in email marketing when they are not confident of the ROI. Three plan of Mailchimp addresses this specific problem where users can start free and pay as and when they grow bigger. Mailchimp let's me integrate a mailing list on my website where I collect email addresses and then send our newsletters to those who would like to follow my business.

Our company’s marketing professionals use Mailchimp to send out email campaigns, mostly for cold outreach and feature updates. we also use it to send out quizlets and interactive standalone modules which we have integrated with outside platforms for. since the primary users are non-technical they tend to rely on myself as a technical assistant for getting automation and integration stuff set up.
