ManageEngine OpManager is very easy to manage and easy to scale, and the GUI is far better than all available products in the market. We can have a single dashboard of all offerings of ManageEngine OpManager and they can be distributed through role-based access for monitoring of server and firewall, and it also makes the website more useful.

ManageEngine OpManager is more user-friendly and easy to use. It is all on your screen to set up and organize. The service logs monitor could display over a month of performance history, and you can make reports for each of the services, which others cannot do. The 3D viewer, even with automatic 360 rotation, still gives a nice thing to see, it is like your real data center.

ManageEngine OpManager is faster, not bloated, and less expensive. Wins in every category in my opinion.

ManageEngine stands out effectively when compared to ControlUp monitoring solutions, mainly due to distinct architectural differences. One key advantage is its versatile deployment options, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models. This flexibility makes it a superior choice for customers seeking global post-sales and deployment assistance support. The widespread availability of support services worldwide enhances its appeal to customers needing reliable after-sales support. Additionally, ManageEngine's streamlined deployment process sets it apart, requiring minimal effort and time compared to ControlUp. This efficiency in deployment adds to its competitiveness, making it an attractive option for organizations looking for swift and effective implementation.

OpManager teams' technical support was excellent. They helped us throughout the implementation - from the initial discovery phase. It is also very easy to use. Our Infrastructure team was able to use it with minimal training.

  • SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)
OpManager is the best solution between all the vendors we reviewed. When completing your request for proposal, be specific as possible with your expectations and needs. Ensure the vendor you select is the correct fit. OpManager selected all the check boxes for our organization with flying colors, it is highly recommended.

OpManager, compared to other platforms, is much cheaper, compared to performance and performance, it has the same characteristics as other tools and is quite fast compared to its market competitors. The sensors it has are useful at the level of network equipment, although it does not have many sensors for computer equipment.

I think for the price this product offers much more. Maybe not as pretty but certainly is feature rich with the ability to add and manage multiple device brands (Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Palo) in an easy to use and very customizable interface. You can get as deep as you want in terms of integration from the ability to make changes to your devices through the interface to just reporting, viewing, or alerting on devices. The IPAM interface has the ability to customize tons of fields to make sure what is going on a static port is noted to perfection, or just have a dns entry pull what it can. Port history and port views are incredibly helpful in our environment. Has the ability to build your server racks and build network diagrams which works well and let me give my Visio license to someone else. This product has pretty much anything you could need, the support is good, they update the software regularly, has MFA which shouldn't need to be said but some of the products we looked at don't. Other than the minor annoyances of this product, its overall a very good value and works well.

Before implementing ME OpManager, I used the Nagios Core monitoring system. When choosing OpManager, we also considered other options. One option was to stay with Nagios. Other monitoring systems we considered were Zabbix and OP5 Monitor. The advantage of Opmanager was based on agentless monitoring, integration with the monitoring system and a user-friendly interface.

ManageEngine OpManager is the best, most suitable Network Device Monitoring solution I have used. It is straightforward to setup, configure, administrate and tailor. It also has a very good UI and a comprehensive device Template repository.

  • SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM)
ManageEngine OpManager provides us with the same functionality, the web UI performs better and the price is much less. Support is quick to respond to any issues and the community also has a lot of great information and people willing to help and share their experiences and information. The interface itself is simple to use, no different than the SolarWinds web UI.

Main reason to select ManageEngine was price/performance ratio. Another reason was great coverage of monitoring of different technologies and modules: network devices of various vendors, network modules like NCM, NFA, support for monitoring of vmware virtualisation , citrix virtualisation , middleware monitoring including ibm mq (which is quite rarely supported) and database monitoring. Local support, and experience was also important factor.

During our competitive analysis, we found ManageEngine OpManager was not expensive compared to other vendors. At the same time, there was no compromise on the features such as customized reporting or configuring alerts per our clientele's unique requirements. These are our client words "Other vendors ask us to pay more $$$ for enabling additional email alerts".

ManageEngine OPManager has already made its place in the market as compared to other tools available due to following reasons -
1. Monitoring capabilities for almost every infrastructure types such as Network, Servers, Virtualization etc
2. Medium Licensing Cost and not that aggressively increasing every year.
3. Good Support and steady pace of growth and marketing.
