  • In the disaster period we wanted a common local account to be created for all endpoints and our go to tool was ManageEngine Endpoint Central and we have accomplished it with ease and in a quick to all WFH and ofice endpoint
  • Patching the failed machines was always a blocker and the option enabled to troubleshoot the failed patches was a genius move by team , now we are tracking the failed patches with troubleshoot window and fixing the failed updates. This cleared our blocks and made our road clear in achieving the targets. Over all it was a great experience and am proud to be a endpoint administrator
Cons
  • The remote access of the WFH users are always a challenge as with out VPN the communication will not establish and the secure gateway integration and the remote access from the ManageEngine Endpoint Central helped us to access the remote machines at ease
  • Securing the data on remote machines is always a challenge and with the bitlocker solution from ManageEngine Endpoint Central is a game changer
  • Vulnerability assessment is at most important aspect in IT and this also a challenging task to perform and with real time vulnerability assessment made our job easy and it improved our security posture by implementing the recommendation provided

  • Remote Control
  • Patch Management
  • Software Deployment
  • Device control
Cons
  • Would like to see "approved" USB accesses be immediately reported to the server as can be the case with denials.
  • Improve efficiency of applying an updated policy via cfgupdate. Sometimes it takes an hour for more for the update to take effect.
  • I really don't have a third example.

  • Patch Management is incredibly efficient and easy to use.
  • Auditing endpoints makes inventorying hardware and software a breeze.
  • OS Deployment allows us to re-image our machines in bulk.
Cons
  • UI should resize itself based on the browser window. E.g. When editing a patch configuration, I need to use the zoom out feature of the browser to see the "Action" column. This occurs while using Chrome as well as Edge.
  • The Blue Circle hamburger icon that appears in the bottom right is constantly in the way of certain menus. To keep it out of the way of the work area, it should reside in the top bar of the screen, next to the "Review and Earn Notification" button OR next to the "Recommended Products button.
  • The Sub Module aspect of Reporting makes creating custom reports rather limited, since the information in the databases is siloed off from each other.
