Reviews
(1-25 of 47)Marketo expertise is a career shaper
- Templates, they are full customization available if you know coding
- Tokens, they are great for enabling others to use the tool
- Smart campaigns, changing and updating anything I need to
Excellent tool for all email mkt
- the landign pages,
- email reports
- Registration lists
Powerful platform if you have a solid strategy!
- The trigger and batch workflow logic (smart campaigns) possibilities are endless and they are able to run in real-time without slowing down the instance (an issue I've seen with real-time automation in some other platforms)
- SFDC integration is every 5 minutes - one of the fastest out there
- Engagement streams - make it really easy to build and manage drip email nurture
Why Marketo is What You Need
- Tokens! Marketo has the capability to use tokens not only in emails, but in operational aspects like scoring. We review our scoring model on a yearly basis and going in and editing a token with a new applied score is so much easier than filtering through 50+ campaigns to find the scoring flow step and modifying from the smart campaign.
- Reporting & Analytics. We use Marketo for reporting on email performance day-to-dayand on an quarterly basis to drive our changes in engaging our prospects & customers through email. We also set up subscriptions for the sales teams to receive weekly web activity reports for their territory.
- Acquisition Programs and lead sourcing. It's so easy to know how someone comes in to your company with these in Marketo.
Marketo - Excellent MarTech Solution (B2B)
- Tokens: These are a scalable solution to pulling in data into emails, landing pages or marketo smart campaign flow steps.
- Smart Campaigns: Very basic feature of Marketo, but I use them daily/hourly to run processes in Marketo
- LaunchPoint: Marketo can integrate with many other MarTech apps. This feature helps with transferring data from one app to Marketo.
Marketo Marketing Automation
- Engagment programs with smart lists, content, and reporting all in the same place
- Smart list and reporting subscriptions to share data with others
Good experience with Marketo so far
- Reporting - It is easy to create and tweak reports to our needs
- Smart Lists - The smart list feature is very thorough and can let you target anywhere from a broad to a narrow selection of leads
- Email Campaigns - It is easy to create and schedule email campaigns
Marketo needs to improve on
- Marketo's precise A/B email testing - one of the best feature as you have the ability to test multiple subject lines, address and many more
- Marketo Community - Best places for people like me to start and solve an issue with all the experts
- Marketo Smart Lists/Campaign - ability to create complex stuff with ease
My Review
- Segmentation - create a better line of communication with our audiences
- Lead nurture - Engagement programs are crucial for our business
- A/B testing for emails
Lead management with Marketo
- Smart campaigns: It allows the creation of flows based on "if this happens then something else happens"
- Customisation of landing pages
- API integration
Developer's Perspective of Marketo
- The automatic integration into Salesforce is a very useful feature, pending the system's ability to process the queue in an efficient manner. This is helpful in removing potential ETL/data engineering involvement.
- Frankly I am really excited about the Adobe acquisition of Marketo because I foresee this enabling tracking with web pixels capturing behavior from the initial "anonymous behaviors" up through filling out Marketo forms and converting the lead into Salesforce.
- Marketo's ability to provide insights and identify hot leads is also very useful in helping marketing automation and sales automation optimize their workflows.
Save Time with Marketing Automation and Marketo
- Engagement Nurture programs are the best automated feature of Marketo. Once you set them up, they run by themselves and you can drag in content easily on a regular basis. Does take a bit of thought, which I've written about to make this easier.
- Email Delivery reports (Email Performance Reports) - great tables of what occurred when sending an email or overall delivery rates.
- Email 2.0 - the module system is a huge leap forward and if you can create a great Master Template, you can empower marketers to be self service and rapidly push out emails.
Marketo for Marketers
- Tokens
- Segmentation
- API
- Engagement Program
A great automation option
- Guided landing page studio - once templates are created, landing pages are up and running in minutes
- Lead scoring - makes it easier to automatize everything
- Email 2.0 editor - great drag and drop functionality
Better than others that's all i can say!!!
- Analtics
- Email programs
- CRM connection
Marketo is Great!
- Smart lists - gave me the ability to learn more about the data in our company and how to best leverage that data
- Forms - ability to automate a ton of campaigns for our stakeholders and gather more information about our members and prospects
- channels and progression statuses - I was able to implement better reporting with this information
Highly intuitive.
- Ability to use Triggers: Other marketing automation platforms can't do that (like trigger an action off of a data value change). This is so powerful, and in my opinion it is necessary!
- Unlimited fields: At least I haven't reach a maximum yet, but I'm sure if I went super crazy they might have something to say about it!
- Ease of use: Marketo is intuitive, easy to navigate, and easy to do things quickly
Marketo Review
- A/B email testing - It gives me the ability to test multiple subject lines and the date and time of when the email will be sent.
- Marketo Community - I log into the community weekly for tips & best practices, troubleshooting help, or just to extend my knowledge of different features.
- Smart Lists - It makes it easier to build programs based on persona or other specific attributes.
Fits in the box
- Lead nurturing took a lot of energy and efforts off our team and helped us focus
- Lead scoring gave the sales team important information on how to prioritize lead communication and followup
- Email templates kept things easy to duplicate and avoided wasting time
Marketo Review
- Smart Lists - with great ease, you can slice and dice your database with great precision.
- Dynamic Content - although we don't use this feature very frequently, it is super easy to set up and allows to save a ton of time by only creating essentially one email for multiple audiences
- Choices in flow steps - allows you to streamline the number of smart campaigns you have to build while still delivering different emails to different audiences. This has saved me tons of time.
Marketing Automation software that can increase your ROI. There are better alternatives.
- Lead scoring
- Lead nurturing
- Forms
Sharing is caring
- Tokens, efficiency has been amazing!
- Reporting, allows me to identify issues with programs built by the other side of our organization
- Audit Trail - allows me to identify when someone might not know enough so I can reach out.
Marketing Automation to drive business growth
- Email templates
- Landing pages
- Segmentation
Did someone say Marketo?
- Segmentations! You can build segmentations for the most common segments you use and this makes it so easy to create target lists for new campaigns.
- A/B testing! This has allowed us to compare the performance of different subject lines and email designs and leverage the top performers for successful campaigns.
- Salesforce integration! Without this, the ability for our Demand Gen team to align with Sales would be extremely difficult.
Marketo is a B2B Marketing Superstar!
- Programs because I can easily create a full marketing campaign in one folder that I can also duplicate.
- Cloning anything I need to create a similar but new asset, campaign, or program.
- Reporting that allows me to focus on an individual or a large audience. I can create a view of my ROI and my impact on the business from Marketo Analytics.
