great option for teams looking for an enterprise-grade solution
With the advent of cloud-based and SaaS software, it's hard to imagine a time when all companies had their own server rooms. But not every company needs to be on the bleeding edge of technology. If you're looking for an enterprise messaging solution that doesn't require you to change how your team works or spend thousands of dollars per month, then Mattermost might be just what you're looking for, and that's what it did for us.

Collaborate with group of relevant people faster and effectively irrespective to their organizations
I am using it for effective communication and collaboration on joint efforts with regulatory professionals from entire pharma industry. We can send messages to all members easily or make announcements to keep all informed or updated. We can have multiple channels for different purposes. I can mention someone to make him notified specifically. It makes online collaboration very easier among any group of people.

Very good Product
In the search for a good collaboration tool, we found Mattermost. We use it for internal messaging within the department. It has helped us tremendously due to the fact that we can create channels in which we include the different sub-departments or groups of teachers, and also have a general group where we have all the collaborators.

Mattermost contributes to a sense of community among remote teams.
We use Mattermost as a communication tool for the entire organization. Management can send a message to the entire organization using an "Announcements" channel that all employees are auto-subscribed to. Additionally, we have channels for each specialty area within the company. HR created a channel for people to "Ask HR Anything". Members of a team can create their own channels and manage their own members. I find it intuitive and dare I say fun to use.

Our Organisation has most of Collaboration Needs Satisfied using Mattermost - Team Chat, DevOps Integrations, Document Sharing
Initially, our staff was using commercial products specifically for chats and collaboration, but they were paid basically. We were charged per user. However, I found out Mattermost. They give self-hosted solutions (Mattermost open source), and it has features that could be purchased based on different requirements. Most of our needs are satisfied with the open-source version.
The main purpose of using it was security concerns. We wanted our data to be only to us, on-premises. So this satisfied the use case to have Mattermost self-hosted on our corporate rack. To date, we have been using it among our staff without any trouble. Mattermost has good options to backup data (store) on cloud platforms too. Also, our use cases consist of DevOps components integration which are satisfied (notifications) from our Jenkins Infrastructure. It has good simplicity of use, so I'll recommend it over other self-hosted chat solutions to anybody.

The classification of the workgroups and projects to have control in relation to the interaction between the teams reduces the execution of the tasks, with a few steps we can create groups individually for each project. Mattermost strengthens communication in a simple way for everyone, not only does it do a proper job with direct communication with all staff, but it can also classify each project and send alerts to those in charge of said project. Complying with data security is an easy task due to local hosting and simple Docker installation. I am an active user of the community and I can say that the technical support always responds quickly but I prefer to ask the large community of users who are also willing to help. My work in human resources requires tools like Mattermost internally and also to communicate with the sales and marketing team.
We have been using Mattermost for 2 years, it was a fast implementation, and the deployment was very good, we only need the help of technical support in specific cases, since it is a very simple system to install. Communications are very fast and with great protection of our information, we are more productive because we solve problems as a great team thanks to Mattermost's internal communications.
We used Mattermost for our between-the-teams communication in the company. A very useful tool, intuitive, and easy to get used to. Had all the features you may need. Another option was Diego, but when I joined, they had been worst using Mattermost for a while and I did like it a lot. Very nice interface and all the features for a proficient commun9 and interaction with people.

Excellent and Stable Collaboration Package with Intuitive Cost-Effective Capabilities.
Mattermost enables excellent collaboration and easy data management and effective project planning and estimates production ability is on top. We use Mattermost to create excellent useful project reports, emails, and contacts management. Analyzing data and importing data via its functional integration is nice and even lead management tools are very excellent and permission management and the workflow is easy to manage.

Excellent for our internal communication.
The most common case for Mattermost is internal communication maintaining privacy correctly, it is also very appropriate for direct communications with videos, we feel that the use is very simple and didactic. It seems that it can be used by a large number of people at the same time without affecting the operation, currently, it is used specifically in 6 departments, the use is increasingly wide thanks to the fact that it passes a simple and friendly user interface for all.

Mattermost, the best tool for software development team
We use Mattermost for our internal communication between teams, departments and it is a very good application for us until now. We can use it for a large number of staff, not only for communication but also for video meetings and so on, so this is a good tool for us
We use Mattermost at Ortiz Gaming / IGS as the main communicator for all teams, integrating the offices in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, and the Philippines. We have previously used other solutions and chat services, but they were in some cases expensive for the number of users we have, or inefficient. We have migrated to Mattermost in the middle of the Covid pandemics, and we are very happy with the results so far.

A great chat solution for startups
Mattermost is our main chat platform which is used daily by tens of employees across our company and our contractors. Its web and mobile apps while fairly basic, work well with our on-premise deployment. Mattermost tries to distinguish itself from Slack/Teams by being privacy-focused by allowing anyone to host it and I think it's one of its key features.

Making instant connection is very easy
Mattermost is an instant business messaging software that is used widely throughout the world. It helps to communicate with people securely and quite privately. This platform has control over my media files. A Great On-Premises ChatOps Alternative
Mattermost is being used primarily in the software development community within our organization, although it is open for use for all employees. Using Mattermost has allowed for easier collaboration for those working together on projects, by limiting use of email, sharing knowledge, and getting quicker responses. With Mattermost implemented in our organization, tickets have drastically reduced due to a support person being able to answer questions directly on the platform.
Mattermost is our main source of communication within our company. We use it to communicate within specific groups and disciplines, across the entire company, and for private messages. The most important factor when deciding on implementing Mattermost was it's HIPAA compliance. Within our healthcare company, HIPAA compliance is of the highest importance.
