Microsoft 365 Business Premium

Notion is limited, although it is very good for sharing information or schedules of activities in real-time. But it is Microsoft 365 Business Premium that helps with many more tools, and its light adaptation on any device. In addition, exporting information is easier in Microsoft 365, since it does not require as many elements as with Notion.

We looked at alternatives to SharePoint for an intranet. One of SharePoint's weakest points is that several sites create silos that cannot be navigated as a whole. Yes, there is a search but it needs improvement. There is no way to see what sites a person is already a member of. We evaluated Unily and a couple of others. A company that develops just an intranet does the job better. However, SharePoint comes with M365 BP already.

There is no comparison. Both Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Adobe Acrobat are beneficial to my job duties.

We liked Google Drive G Suite with its smooth integration with G Mail. We never were set up with the MS mail program and did not wnat to make that change. We went with Microsoft 365 because the programs offered (Word, Excel, PP) are much more intuitive and robust. The Google Drive programs seem more quirky. Additionally document management is far more intuitive than with G Suite.

Microsoft did a great job with older generations being able to use 365 as well as younger people. The software is very user friendly.

We have only evaluated Microsoft 365 Business Premium. We do use Adobe products for a different purpose.

These products simply do not compare in terms of universal compatibility, features, integrations, user-friendliness, and overall cost. Google is free but not as secure and too cloud-based for our needs as a medium-sized organization. I would recommend Google to independent entrepreneurs and not larger organizations. Microsoft 365 Business Premium has countless apps that allow integration with other software including the two I mentioned here, but go far above and beyond what these apps can do, and even better, Microsoft 365 keeps everything in the same unified system so we don't have to have multiple apps that don't communicate with one another, and separate logins for those apps.

Before migrating to Microsoft 365 Business Premium, we possessed an in-house exchange server. Therefore, it was difficult for us to look at alternatives to Microsoft for a solution – we did look at the Google Suite of products, but the transition for us seemed less cumbersome to stay with Microsoft from a staff and administrative perspective. While the G Suite does offer us many outstanding products and services, we also didn’t feel that Gmail is up-to-par as a corporate solution the way Exchange/Outlook/OWA are – this alone was also a driving force for our end-users, as there was minimal transition for them to move from an on-premise solution to an off-premise solution. The additional features of SharePoint, Teams, Project, and so many other applications within Microsoft 365 also helped us make a strong case to stay with Microsoft and expand what we were using. The end-user and mobile protections of InTune have also put us at ease when issuing laptops and mobile phones to an almost fully-remote end-user base.

Outside of Outlook email. The rest of the programs included in this bundle are superior to similar products I have tried. For example, Teams is a much better program than Jabber. Teams is easier to use, has more tools (some of which will link directly to other programs in the suite) and has a lot less glitches.

The honest truth is that Microsoft 365 doesn't have any real competition. Apple's office applications are attractive and simple, and OpenOffice is great because it's free, but neither suite offers the power, compatibility, scalability and ease of use that 365 does. The mail/calendar applications are a prime example -- any time someone sends you a calendar invite and you don't have Outlook, you're at a significant disadvantage.

The only application that is close to Microsoft 365 Business Premium is Google Drive. The advantage of Microsoft 365 Business Premium over Google Drive is that it integrates more seamlessly with Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc. Dropbox Business cannot compare to Microsoft 365 Business Premium because it lacks smooth integration with other Microsoft desktop applications.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is very limited in its implementation and collaboration abilities within a business. It cannot compare with [Microsoft 365 Business Premium] with its convenience, ability to create and edit documents, email, data storage and retrieval and price. It is always about price. Adobe products are way overpriced and their competitors are taking over.

There really are few viable alternatives to Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Organizations can either use Google, Microsoft 365, or an amalgamation of Slack, Zoom, and Google/\Microsoft. For organizations that already use Microsoft, it's convenient to upgrade rather than introduce new software to employees and another program for IT and security to manage.

I am an advocate of G Suite, but where you need more enhanced functionality, Microsoft is a winner, hands down. With Microsoft, we are able to run financials, and build and analyze more complex spreadsheets and data sets. Microsoft integrates with our third-party ERP system, where G Suite does not. Both are tools I have used, but in this instance, I am reaching for the tool that best fits the need.

I think MS 365 stacks up against all competitors very well. I think there are certainly benefits to Cisco's platform along with RingCentral's platform and some of that will be important to look at side by side for anyone looking to choose between these platforms. The integration with all of Microsoft Office products is a slightly lower lift, but Cisco and Ring certainly offer similar integration capabilities. So much depends on your current platforms and what users are ready to adopt. I would suggest Proof of Concepts with small user groups to get feedback.

I've been using Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft related products for the past 15 years. I have dabbled a little bit in Smartsheet and the learning curve just wasn't worth it in my opinion. Microsoft 365 is tried and true and in my mind there's no point pivoting to a different software bundle, even if it was a cheaper alternative.

They are similar but not the same and of course Microsoft 365 is the best in class

I believe that Microsoft 365 Business Premium integrates two-factor authentication, providing security in each of our accounts, at the same time providing us with the security and integrity that our accounts are not going to be used by third parties, which it allows to have the reliability and tranquility in each communication.

Much better than Google docs platform.

I've been trying G Suite in the past. Google Suite is very good, and it's a worthy competitor of Microsoft 365 Business Premium. But what I find most inconvenient is the lack of desktop applications. Yes, it works in its current form, but for some tasks, Excel is way beyond the Google Spreadsheets web application. If you work on the web exclusively, G Suite is good, but what Microsoft offers is more versatile.

Nothing is like it because of MS licensing.

Microsoft 365 overall has the better quality of a product. They offer a variety of different options at different price levels and make it so that you can have whatever your business really needs. What these other platforms lack is the ease of use and versatility. People all over the world use Microsoft 365 Business and can easily access anything that comes their way associated with it.

It is fairly similar just with a few more features. Microsoft is more professionally built, but Google does a good job integrating the cloud aspect of the software. Both are interchangeable and basically do the same thing. Google Drive is a bit cheaper but Microsoft has more features, so you can't go wrong with either.
