Microsoft 365 is a good suite for large enterprises companies for their collaboration and productivity. It's useful for remote working and file sharing on OneDrive.
I prefer other vendor tools for online calls because Teams is very heavy and Skype not useful in general for my organisation where some other products are mostly used.

Microsoft 365 is well-suited for:Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs): Microsoft 365 offers a cost-effective solution for SMBs to access a suite of essential productivity tools without the need for extensive IT infrastructure. It provides a wide range of applications, allowing teams to collaborate, communicate, and manage documents efficiently.Remote Work and Collaboration: Microsoft 365's cloud-based nature makes it ideal for remote work scenarios. With tools like Microsoft Teams, employees can easily communicate, hold video conferences, and collaborate on projects in real-time, regardless of their location.Microsoft 365 may be less appropriate for:Organizations with Specific Software Requirements: Some organizations may have specialized software needs that are not met by Microsoft 365. In such cases, they may require industry-specific software or custom solutions.Limited Internet Connectivity: Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based platform, which means a stable internet connection is essential for optimal functionality. Organizations with poor internet connectivity might face challenges using the cloud-based applications effectively.

I have been working on this product for more than 10 years now. This product has evolved and made tremendous improvements during this period. This product is a complete package and suitable for almost every environment. It will work in simple, medium, large and complex environments. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive will fulfill your business requirements. There are features like Data classification, labelling, records management, Ediscovery, Legal hold, ATP, DLP, Defender which are must in every organization.

The only thing I am a little not confident about this product is its reliability on protection. It is not as efficient as anybody would want. Even if you apply stringent of restrictions it can still be broken and Spam or other malicious activity can enter.

The scenario where the Microsoft 365 is well suited is when a meeting is scheduled in the Teams, the outlook will send mail to all the members who are included in the meeting. The person who wants to conduct the meeting need not to communicate with everyone separately. The less appropriate scenario is like when the data is sent through teams to other collegue, the data sometimes changes it format and some format files cannot be transferred using Microsoft 365 softwares.

If you have internet access, then Microsoft 365 is a suite that helps any professional in any work area to easily create different kinds of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Outlook and OneDrive are really simple to use and enable collaboration and organization of meetings. It is not a cheap product but it enables you to perform almost all tasks required in a modern office workplace.

It's great for traditional offices where spreadsheets and memos (now email) abound. The ability to make a spreadsheet in Excel and then past it into a text document has always been a plus, but there are times I almost wish "Clippy" was back to [guessing] what I'm trying to do when I don't have the vocabulary to be able to look it up.

It's lousy for design work and for more artistic kinds of expression, but then again that was never its goal. For the MBA holders, not the MFAs.

I would recommend M365 for small to medium-sized businesses that need, or want, the value for licensing multiple devices, per account, with Office applications and other Microsoft services. However, that said, there should be someone in the business that can administrate the M365 account for all staff, preferably either internal IT or an outsourced MSP. I would suggest utilizing video and file-sharing services such as Zoom until at such time Microsoft Teams application and services are more stable and afford more integration with other vendors.

Office 365 is perfect for any organization. It makes managing of basic office products much easier and helps our users work from anywhere. Having the email hosted elsewhere took some initial getting used to but since has been perfect. We saved on infrastructure costs and in general have much less trouble than when we were managing things ourselves. Once you get over the initial hurdle/implementation it almost runs itself.

When working with CSV data files, if you don't have a local software, it is a hassle to upload it to an online service. It takes too much time to upload it and to display it. If the file is too large, it cannot even be processed online. When you Excel on your local computer, everything becomes simple. The file is opened instantly. You can search and process the file as you want. The modifications are done instantly.
When you prepare a long document, it is much faster to work locally and the formatting is kept very well.
As the downside, it is not very well suited for collaboration. Some online competitors are much faster to use. Sharing, commenting and collaborative editing needs improvement.

Word and Excel have always been Microsoft's strongest products, in my humble opinion. But if an organization needs just basic email communications, I'd probably point them elsewhere as the Outlook/Exchange setup is powerful but probably overkill.

I think that most of the scenarios are recommended for the use of Microsoft 365 as long as the company that wants to incorporate it is not a very small company, I think that from 50 workers it can already be interesting for management, organization and development. of the company's activities. However, if a company has less than 50 workers, the cost, development and implementation of Microsoft 365 may not be as interesting or at least not take advantage of all its features.

The offline Office suite is still the same product is has always been, with complete functionality and known interface. As soon as you choose to edit online however, the ribbon changes, and editing is less intuitive than in the offline version. It is basically impossible to find any files in the OneDrive, and there are multiple steps where things can go wrong when editing. The review mode is horrid, the interface displays all changes at once without guides as in the offline version. Documents appear cluttered and are not easy to edit.

It does make daily work a lot easier, especially since we are working from home a lot. It is easy to attach a Teams invite to an email or calendar invite, again making communication very easy. If I need to set up a meeting with my boss, I will often send him a Teams message, and he will tell me to send him a Teams Meeting invite. When I do this, I can see exactly when he is free, and my invite goes straight to his calendar. It makes a lot of day-to-day actions seamless.

This product is extremely well suited for working both as an individual, or as a team when everyone is working on the same platform for ease of accessibility to documents. I don't think it is as well suited to be working in documents together, such as in Google Docs or Sheets. It doesn't do as good of a job of instant collaboration, but I much prefer the overall functionality of the Microsoft suite.

Our office's operations have always been built around it. Exchange Online is a fantastic option for any company looking to switch to Microsoft 365 from their current system. Providing the office suite with enterprise licensing can also save money. It reduces capital expenditures and improves operational spending. In the absence of Microsoft 365, we would not have been able to continue delivering our services in this way.

Word is still one of the best apps for writing, no matter the genre. Whether it be forms, office letters, notices, etc. There is not much that Word cannot do.
Excel has the best report structure for what we use everyday. In addition to our standard payroll software, we use an excel to reconcile our payroll. Excel makes sure no one or nothing is missed.
Outlook is used company wide for all email correspondence.

I think as a daily engine for tasks/files/management/communication, Microsoft 365 helps our office run smoothly and get our work done. We have many employees and a cross-discipline firm so it makes sense to have the full suite. I think it might be less appropriate in smaller firms or other firm types that don't rely heavily on email.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is suitable for a wide variety of companies. It suits those who work in the administrative, legal, business, and technology fields. There are some sources that may not foster creativity. If you are looking for a more creative outlet, I wouldn't really suggest Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), unless you are using PowerPoint, which still has very limited room for creativity. Otherwise, many small businesses or companies can use Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) on a daily basis for all types of projects

Microsoft is great for a school setting. As a teacher, it helps me keep documents, sheets, and PowerPoints organized, and I appreciate being able to create folders for all of my organization. I wish Forms could be considered documents like they are in Google, so they could also be put into those folders.

Any organization from small to large can benefit from leveraging the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools. I particularly like it for cloud file storage (SharePoint and one drive) as it makes it simple to access files both on your computer or mobile device seamlessly and co-author easily. Collaboration is a big part of working with these products and they do that well.
