Reviews
(1-25 of 46)Very good value for money product
- It has helped improve sales productivity
- Revenue has increased by 22% CAGR over 3 years post implementation
GP good for big company
- Great for detailed organizations with lots of account codes or locations
- AP and AR are strong, GL is detailed
- Custom reports are tedious
- Lots of plug in of different price ranges
- Upgrading is expensive
Microsoft Dynamic GP works well for mid-sized companies
- Microsoft Dynamics has serviced it's purpose.
Microsoft Dynamics GP Review
- It is our only "GL" generator. We do not have any complaints.
- I love that you can "copy and paste" journal entries into the general journal from Excel.
Dynamics GP - Manufacturing and Back Office, MRP
- Good back office, okay manufacturing,
- Users do a lot of workarounds in Excel and then post to GP
- Stability- runs well and users are generally confident of what they're entering and seeing
GP is good until it is no longer supported
- Efficiency has been good for what it does include.
- Easy navigation keeps it organized.
- Easy to use daily functions
GP Review From an IT Guy
- Better inventory management
- AP - AR
- Vendor management
- Streamlined reporting across multiple departments.
- It allows for independent management of various features.
Dynamics GP Can Be a Useful Accounting/GL Solution
- Dynamics GP gave us the visual look we needed into our Fiscal performance.
Microsoft Dynamics Review: Pretty Dynamic!
- I think it's been a positive impact for saving us time, money, and creating a more efficient process.
Great product for a great value
- Cheaper than the competition
- Scalable
- Synergy
- Good inventory control
- Great user-friendly interface for AP and AR
- Microsoft Dynamics GP has easy to use built-in and custom reports, minimizing the need for outsourced reports generating software.
- As our company grows, so do our needs. After 5 years, we see ourselves outgrowing the software because of bar-coding integration for inventory locations and production.
- It has assisted in the merging of several entities to the same platform and therefore made consolidated reporting easier.
Sturdy General Ledger
- MS Dynamics GP has serviced our company well as a very sturdy general ledger.
- We were not impressed with MS Dynamics GP's inventory/ordering capabilities. We were forced to shop for an outside solution, from which we batch/upload data into MS Dynamics GP.
- We were not impressed with MS Dynamics GP's business intelligence tool. We decided to purchase an alternative tool. Fortunately, we were able to EASILY integrate the outside tool with MS Dynamics GP via MS SQL Server.
Dynamics GP for Lease Accounting
- Most of what goes into Dynamics at our organization is done automatically through other programs. It has been great for our general accounting needs, which can get complicated with the types of transactions we have.
- It has been very useful in reporting specific metrics used to show company value to prospective investors.
New Hope GP Review
- Have had table issues that were very expensive for our Microsoft GP partner consultant to correct.
- Was late on a maintenance/retainer payment deadline resulting in a substantial increase in annual payment that became locked in indefinitely.
- In 2017 Microsoft raised their GP support incident rate from $169.00 to $499.00.
- Cloud or externally hosted GP is extremely expensive and not cost effective for many businesses.
Great entry level ERP for your small/medium sized business
- We have the system integrated with a 3rd party logistic system, and we can know when the items have been delivered so we can initiate our invoicing process.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP greatly reduces the time of communication between the departments in the company.
- The users can spend more time analizing important information, and less time on routine tasks.
Microsoft Dynamics GP: Solid, respectable and cautious. Just like your accounting team!
- Positive - consolidated financials save thousands annually
- Negative - upgrades can be complicated and expensive. Plan for $20-$30k (or more) in time and materials from a reputable partner depending on the complexity of the upgrade and the size of your environment.
- Positive - robust user community provides answers to many common questions, for free.
GP is Generally Passable ;)
- Frankly, we haven't leveraged it properly, so this is a difficult question to answer. I'm sure our ROI could be much stronger.
Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Efficiency from easy integration with other systems
- Reporting and budgeting have improved
Dynamics GP for Manufacturing
- Positive impact - it empowers our users to research inventory and dig deeper to find information
- It is not intuitive and difficult to use until you have learned the system over several months.
Microsoft GP for your financial needs
- We've been able to track travel expenses to see where we are overspending and cut costs.
- It is the sole way we record all financials and has really been a fairly simple interface to use.
Microsoft Dynamics GP - Improved information
- It has increased accuracy and efficiency because of the ease of import and export.
- It has improved audit papers.
- We feel that GP was a great investment.
GP - Solid, Scalable, Secuirty
- We were running 2 separate accounting systems. One for our e-commerce platform and one for everything else. By choosing GP and integrating our e-commerce platform, we now have a clear picture of our finances that we did not have before.
Microsoft GP Review
- For product revenue, our smart list drives all reporting we do, greatly increasing visibility into sales trends, etc.
