I think it stacks up very well, ClickUp ha a better user interface however Microsoft Excel has a more sophisticated back end and formula approach. In my opinion, ClickUp however does provide less of a need to 'learn' formulas as there is more of a click application approach which can be helpful when in situations where the formulas you are applying are less familiar to you / you haven't applied them before.

Excel stands out from Google Sheets and Apple Numbers with its extensive range of advanced functions, including financial, statistical, and data analysis tools, surpassing the capabilities of its competitors. As the universally recognized industry standard, Excel offers better compatibility with various file formats and ensures smooth collaboration with colleagues and businesses. The seamless integration of Excel with other Microsoft Office products and popular financial software creates a more comprehensive platform for financial tasks, compared to Google Sheets and Apple Numbers. Its ability to handle larger datasets and perform complex calculations makes Excel the ideal choice for finance students and professionals working with significant amounts of data.Excel provides users with more customization options, such as add-ins, templates, and advanced formatting features, offering greater control over spreadsheets. Unlike Google Sheets, which relies on internet access, Excel can be used offline, allowing users to work on their spreadsheets without requiring an internet connection.Excel's PivotTable feature and Power Query tool enable users to analyze and manipulate large datasets more efficiently than its counterparts.

Microsoft Excel stacks up against them with better User Interface, this plays a more crucial role than any of the functionality that other software offers.
Its ability to have a lot of functions for handling day to day task and analyzing data and automating the task.
Microsoft Access can handle large amount of data sets, but it doesn't have that ease of interface.

PowerPoint is excellent for displaying information in a far more visually engaging, relatable manner. However, where it is lacking is the ability to get to that point in analyzing competing deal information, building formulas around it, things of that nature.

Apple has its own competing product called Numbers. I find the interface a tad more visually appealing than Excel but not nearly as good from a functionality standpoint both when looking to develop new clients for my real estate business and in the support of my existing clients. That is why I am loyal to Excel.

i have used many Microsoft products like Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Windows, Yammer etc., but I can say that every product is different from each other and each product solves different professional day-to-day work problems quite efficiently, although I have always stuck to Microsoft products because of their efficiency and I have only used Microsoft Excel to do all the related tasks which can be performed by it and my company and colleagues also prefer to use it only. Although I have used Notepad++ also to perform some day to day tasks but the number of tasks which Excel can deliver is incomparable to what Notepad++can deliver

Compatibility is the main issue. It is frustrating to send an Excel workbook to someone who can't open it. Also, user interfaces are not as slick and intuitive.

Microsoft Excel stands out amongst its peers for the service they provide and with every latest update, they tend to ensure that even the minor issues impacting their users are managed to make the software efficient for people like me to use. The software's user-friendly experience along with easy-to-use formulas makes it better than its competitors in my opinion.

Microsoft Excel is legacy software and no one till now had matched the functionality of Excel. We can even automate daily tasks easily with help of macros. Also one can connect various data base to it and you are good to go without any other hassle. Google Sheets is comparatively new and still in development face. So less recommended.

I find that Microsoft Excel ranks higher than Microsoft Powerpoint because of it's ability to handle large amounts of data the fact that it has keys tools to helps streamline information. It does however not have the same capabilities as Microsoft Powerpoint when it comes to presenting this information in an informative and energetic manner.

Google Sheets is a comparable product to Microsoft Excel and it's more flexible when it comes to sharing because it can be shared with anyone who has the link or Google Drive access to it. However, Google Sheets does not have all the functions, especially when it comes to formulas, as Microsoft Excel does.

Microsoft Excel is very easy to use and very very user friendly. While Google Sheets is also very simple, Microsoft Excel takes the lead when it comes to reporting and analysis with its different types of charts (line, pie, bar etc.). The only reason to use Google Sheets against Microsoft Excel is because Google Sheets is free.

Excel is the tool I use the most in my work. For me it is essential in the organization, it can perform all the calculations with a variety of formulas. The other applications are more communication/marketing and don't have much mathematics.

As compared to the other software, MS Excel is continuously getting better day by day by its R&D Team. Contacting the support team of MS Excel and getting the solutions from them is easy while it is [a] paid one.

Out of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, IBM SPSS, and Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel is by far the most common tool used for anything data-related across organizations. Accordingly, our organization has also implemented Microsoft Excel as a first-step tool. We recently adopted Microsoft Power BI (the free version), and use it occasionally (mostly for creating dashboards), but it is less commonly understood by stakeholders across our organization and by our clients. Accordingly, Microsoft Excel is more user-friendly and because of its popularity, we can easily look up how to do things in the program online. Google Sheets is a comparable alternative to Microsoft Excel, but because it's cloud-based and we have sensitive data that needs to be protected, we chose against using this software. Finally, a few users (including myself) have access to and utilize IBM's SPSS. For my role, it's a helpful tool to do more rigorous analyses. However, because of its cost and limited functionality as a simple spreadsheet, we only use it for more complex analyses.

Excel will always be selected because it's part of the Office Suite. We started to use Smartsheet, but the onboarding and training process took too long when compounded with licensing setup & costs. Apple Numbers works well, but without the maturity of Excel. Since Apple products are not prevalently used in business applications, Excel wins.

We prefer [Microsoft] Excel because it integrates with other Microsoft applications we use and our employees are more familiar with it. We also find it to have vastly more capabilities in areas such as graphics, functions, formatting, statistical and analytical tools. We need to standardize on a single product so we choose Excel.

Excel is a far superior product compared to Numbers as far as it's usability, simplicity, and functions. I do like the ease of sharing that Google Sheets offers and that's an advantage, but otherwise, very similar. Often I use Excel over Google because of how user friendly it is.

Though Google Sheets is a good application but it requires additional effort from the users for doing the data related issues. Having the requirement of data connection made the sheets bit of tough for the users.

We utilize Tableau and Alteryx in addition to Excel. We use Excel since we have a data dump that could be utilized in feeding for these two solutions. We select Excel for some manual work then plug the data into the other two tools for further analysis around text analytics like word clouds in Tableau, or text mining in Alteryx. Excel is an input data source that we use in conjunction with these two.

Google Sheets is a good spreadsheet software for it's online sharing capabilities, but Microsoft Excel is a much more loaded program with a lot more capabilities and functions. Excel to Google Sheets is like a MOAB compared to a bottle rocket in terms of functionality and programming. I haven't used the macro functions as much, but I know that you can find a user-programmed excel sheet online for almost any application you need. That's because of the programming capabilities embedded in Excel. If Excel had a more user-friendly system for online sharing and collaboration, it would be the ultimate go-to in anything spreadsheet related.

Actually, Power Bi and Planful can be [used] with Excel, each solution has strengths, Power Bi is more focused on graphics, and Planful is more on the financial database, but compared with Google Sheets, Excel is better, first, you can use out of browser, it has a specific program to run in Windows. Second, the usage is more intuitive than Google solution.
