  • Small and big financial reports are started on Microsoft Excel and most of the time serve the objective with full satisfaction with its extensive library of formulas and functions
  • Advent of AI has still made easier to write formulas/ functions

  • It helps to me gather my thoughts, organize my research, and most importantly prioritize information in an easy to digest manner depending on what I am most interested to see at that time.
  • It helps me quite a bit to talk my clients through the financial implications of various office leasing transactions under consideration and coach them in a way that is very unbiased and fact-driven which I like.
  • It helps me to be more thoughtful as well when thinking about the various different situations in which I use Excel. And because it ultimately results in my clients getting comfortable ultimately pulling the trigger on a given deal, it directly leads to more commission in my pocket which I love!

  • Microsoft Excel increases the efficiency of our working and helps to increase the deliverables to the client
  • Microsoft Excel is very time efficient, it saves a lot of time
  • there are so many hidden features in Microsoft Excel that you can do anything and everything from it, so sometimes it becomes quite difficult to keep a track and remember all the features Microsoft Excel can deliver
  • Microsoft Excel increases work efficiency, delivery output, saves time, energy and effort, simplifies every task to finish it in a blink which otherwise would have taken hours to complete

  • ROI is good, especially for Office 365 clients, since it comes with the bundle.
  • Excel alternatives may be free, but businesses can suffer when you run into compatibility issues.
  • With the latest versions for Mac, users can work with either Windows or Apple computers; no problem.

  • Our pivot tables for payroll and benefits have allowed me to identify exact costs by employee from multiple funding sources. This allows me to budget accurately and monitor expenses more exactly.
  • I use the charts and graphs as part of the financial report for our Board, which displays the financial data in an easy to understand format for Board members who do not have a strong financial background.
  • We export a lot of reports from other software programs into Microsoft Excel so we can perform data analysis to find answers to help make informed decisions.

  • One can link DB with it, so no need to buy any other data extraction tool.
  • It's easy to understand and grab knowledge of Excel thus saving 70% of the time learning it.

  • Helped track lead generation efforts on marketing campaigns
  • Track which tasks are completed and need to be done for our own lead generation events that we host
  • Track profits, expenses, and sales in our business

  • Allows us to quickly glean insights from data for clients in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Widely accessible to others in the organization, promoting knowledge sharing and quick feedback from colleagues.
  • Relatively easy-to-use, promoting time saving within data analysis work.
  • A negative is that it's quite difficult to merge many data extractions together into one single Master Data file. It requires Power Query and has bugs associated with using this.

  • As an Office tool, Excel removes any inefficiencies from tool indoctrination. It is simple and fast to share Excel files between team members and update simultaneously if incorporated within Teams or SharePoint
  • Because of the familiarity of Excel, users are likely using only 20% of its functionality, which means a high potential (or lost opportunity) for increased productivity and efficiency.
  • The weak implementation of reviews has resulted in significant time loss while users manually generate 'redlines' to Excel files for reviews using font formatting.
