Wunderlist gets to-dos done
Wunderlist is in use by several of my clients to track progress and tasks on many different projects.
Primarily it’s being used by divisions or departments within each company to focus on their specific tasks. For example I have a team that’s using it to track website fixes. Site users in the company can add fixes to Wunderlist and the web team makes the fixes a marks them as complete.
- Syncs well.
- Multi-platform.
- Can include web links.
- The big thing is that Microsoft is supposed to be sun setting Wunderlist, or at least was supposed to years ago. I’m hesitant to recommend it if that’s still on the radar.
- Notification overload. I don’t need an email every time an item is added to Wunderlist. Send me a daily digest or weekly for done projects.

Management oversees the progress of the photographer and web team who manage the To-Do tasks. Tasks are submitted by the sales team who might notice products on the website that need to be re-photographed or have data updated. The photographer and web team respond as needed to each request.
I'm the out-of-house support for IT, and Wanderlust needs no ongoing support once it's implemented.
- To-do management.
- Sharing with team.
- Input from multiple devices.
- Global sync.
- The ability to add web URLs to the to-do tasks was the revelation and enabled it to be used for this task.
- New products could be added to Wunderlist as to to be added to the website.
Yes
Email. It was a mess that caused more issues than it solved. Cleary we needed a dedicated to-do application to sync data across users and allow completed tasks to be "checked off" as done.

Wunderlist will make your job better. It's worth it.
I have a team of about 10 people within an organization of about 150 people. We use Wunderlist to collaborate on tasks, projects, and lists. One user can create a list (say a list of people we need to reach out to for the first time) and others can contribute, leave comments, add tasks, etc. This makes teamwork much easier. Often times in a meeting, we will just open up our Wunderlist and go through the tasks we've collaborated on. Our team communicates and tracks work frequently on the app.
- Organizing. It is very easy to organize your notes and different lists. It really streamlines my thoughts. I never open Wunderlist and am confused about my notes.
- Sharing. Sharing my notes or lists with others and adding them to different projects is very simple and easy. We've never had an issue.
- Loads fast. Your information can be pulled up quickly in Wunderlist. This is essential as I'll be in a meeting and have to pull up a reminder quickly.
- Creating new lists on the mobile app can be complicated, more so than it needs to be.
- I never use the scheduled reminder feature, yet the app seems to really want me to. If it's unneeded it should be easy to remove.
- Deleting tasks and comments can be confusing.

- I have remembered more tasks and notes because of Wunderlist.
- It has been easier for me to take notes in meetings and presentations with Wunderlist.
- Because of Wunderlist, my notes and reminders about people or projects are easier to organize and find.
On the app, Wunderlist loads quickly and is easier to navigate. It's also very streamlined and not complicated in the slightest. You can quickly get to all your notes and share tasks/reminders or create new lists. Other apps are simple but take forever to load or are so full of features that it's very complicated. This is not the case with Wunderlist.
- The folders
- The sidebar
- The comments and subtasks inside a task
- Scheduling reminders
- The auto-scheduling (I want to write the word "Friday" and it removes the word to add a reminder when I don't want one)

Mobile interface works very well. It's the best thing about Wunderlist.
Wunderlist is being used by myself to help keep things organized. Its used to make sure tasks that need to be done get done on time. With so much to do on a daily basis new items come in that can push out older items leaving to things being forgotten about. Wunderlist is being used to help with that issue.
- Tracking of to do items with deadlines and reminders
- Sync across all my devices and computers so no matter where I am I have my list.
- Ability to create different lists to separate to do items
- Interface can feel dated
- Customize background I want to clean it up

- Has kept me on task and allowed me to close out projects faster
- Lets me stay on top of important and even the not important items that need to be done. Small things that normally get pushed off get done now and that looks good on my day and with my employees and clients.
Reason I went with Wunderlist is a simpler build. Applications like Asana or Trello are more large scale for milestones on projects with multiple calibrations across the project. I did not need to overcomplicate things, I needed a simple easy solution that gets the job done, that's what Wunderlist did for me. This tool was my my needs, to organize myself and didn't need bells and whistles that were not needed. The other tools would be too much of a burden for what was needed.
- adding tasks
- Setting reminders and due dates
- Marking things off as completed
- Adding notes, seemed to be 2 step would like to keep it to just one step
Yes
Works really well, app download and it's seemless from the desktop version to the phone app. Had no issues using it and allows me to keep track of things on the go.

It's free to start and I'm sure it could be enough for personal and small sized business users.
The only perfect alternative I ever found for Wunderlist is Todoist. Todoist is not worth unless you subscribed to the paid version. The major problem is there are no task reminders in the free version.
