This product is a very cost-effective solution that meets the accounting and reporting needs of my organization. The software seems like it will easily handle any growth in my organization. I like the way MIP is working to develop the product but not changing things that already work well. I'm looking forward to using this product for many more years.

We have been using MIP for over 25 years. In the '90s, we used the MS-Dos version and subsequently changed to the Windows version in the 2000s. Our organization is still relatively small in terms of staffing and even transaction volume; however, over the years, the number of projects has increased and is projected to increase drastically in the next year or two. With the increase in projects along with the ability of MIP to cater easily to large organizations, it makes perfect sense for us to renew when that time comes.

Abila has all the features required for a state of art nonprofit accounting system. It has robust controls, reporting, multiple report writing capabilities, many modules, ability to upload data and integrate it into the system. Abila allows you to report on grants by the date of the grant award regardless of your company year-end and makes it easy to create the reporting required for outside agencies.

Unfortunately, we will likely have to renew our contract for at least another year as we are short-staffed and currently do not have the capacity to examine other software options. We do intend to explore other options in the future but we are a nonprofit so cost will also be a limiting factor for us.

Having real estate entities requires more complex software to accommodate rental and lease terms which are not a part of this software. The use of MIP for tracking grants and programs does work really well. Just know if you are going to use the software for other types of accounting you may need to tie in other software in order to meet your needs.

We do not plan to change-MIP works fantastic for our size agency, our funding requirements, and our reporting requirements. My staff loves the ease of use compared to the software that was in place prior to the conversion to MIP. We converted in very little time due to having the support of MIP and the reseller.

We are very happy with the results we have achieved over the past few years of using MIP. We have evaluated other software solutions but have been shocked at the increased cost of those solutions for the limited gain of function over MIP.

Currently, all users are familiar with the product or know how to train a new employee with ease of use of the product. Easily able to identify what is available in a budget and how much has been expended to date. Able to identify how much money can be moved between components to make sure that we stay within budget and have funding where it is needed.

I have a hard time believing there would be software for our size and complexity that would add sufficient value that it would be worth the conversion cost. MIP has many emergent capabilities once you learn of them.

MIP can easily help us to adapt to our growing needs. We may move to the cloud in the future, although since the classic version is still available I expect we will keep renewing our use of MIP Fund Accounting. We are a small business and it still works for us.

My team and I could not do my job as well as we do without MIP Fund Accounting. The ability to pay suppliers electronically was a game-changer - cut down on tracking lost checks and payments can be guaranteed a couple of days after the accounts payable process is completed.

We have been using MIP for six years and we are overall satisfied with our experience. The system has helped us a lot in streamlining our accounting, audit, and budgeting process. We use Microix for budget, PO, accounts payable/receivable workflow, and approval. MIP directly interfaces with Microix and data transfer between the two systems is seamless.
