CloudBerry is a great solution to backup a server or workstation to either the cloud, locally or both. I installed it on two servers a couple of years ago and have had VERY good results with it. I backup those servers both locally to an in-house NAS and to AWS for offsite cloud backups. This software is very easy to configure and use. Love it!
  • Low cost backup solution for servers and workstations that is easy to setup and manager and it works!
  • I love the file level backups with ransomware protection also. Perfect for file servers.
  • None that I have found.
I have found CloudBerry is an excellent solution for file server and workstation backups. Very easy to set up and manage the backup plans. Works well with AWS Cloud storage also, as well as local network or USB attached storage. I LOVE the bandwidth management and the ability to schedule different bandwidth limits for different days and times.
  • Inexpensive and easy to use. Enough said.
  • NAKIVO Backup & Replication
I use Veeam, Nakivo and CloudBerry across the networks I manage. All three work well for their needs. Veeam is great for larger virtual environments. Nakivo is also good in those situations and because it's less expensive; it works well in smaller virtual environments. CloudBerry is great for workstations and file servers and the ransomware protection is great.

IT Directory responsible for all IT related support and admin. The IT Director setup the Cloudberry Backup software on our file servers and configured the onsite and offsite AWS backup jobs as well as monitors the reports of success or failure of the backups and tests the backups to ensure they are all performing properly.
  • Versioned backup of our file servers.
  • Good reports on success or failure of the backups.
  • Good interface that is simple to use and monitor.
  • Very price competitive.
  • We use multiple backup solutions and Cloudberry is a very important part of that strategy. It allows us to keep versioned backups of our file servers both onsite and offsite at AWS and works great!
  • We will continue to backup our file servers using Cloudberry and I recommend it to other clients that I consult with. It's a good solution for both versioned file backups as well as bare metal complete machine backups.
I love Cloudberry. I am using it at three different sites to backup their mission critical file servers and it works great. It is a very cost effective backup solution that is easy to setup and use and the support is also very good. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a good backup solution for their business.

Cloudberry Backup software is a very price competitive solution to our backups needs and is very easy to setup and use. It is just as easy to use and reliable as it's reputation suggested and has every option that we needed to backup our file servers. Great product at a very reasonable price.
I wouldn't change my evaluation or decision process. Cloudberry provides us with the features we needed to backup our file servers, and it is at a very reasonable price for software that is this reliable and impressive. I would not change a thing since it solved our problems.
  • Implemented in-house

Change management was minimal
Since this was setup on a new server that was just being brought online, there weren't any major change management steps to complete. We basically installed this in a lab type environment and brought that system live after install was completed and tested so we really didn't have any issues with it.
  • Properly setting up the bandwidth throttling for our offsite backups.
Easy and successful implementation and the results have been very good with no issues since the install and go live. I highly recommend Cloudberry Backup software to anyone needing an easy to install, setup and manage backup solution. Excellent product with great features and reliability at a very good price point.

I have only had to use their support team a couple of times and each time my issue was resolved quickly and easily. Communication was excellent and understandable and they resolved my issues in a reasonable amount of time and explained the solution to me so it made sense. Great support!
Excellent support with very quick response and quick resolution of my issues. I am very happy with my experience with their support department and feel comfortable they can and will resolve any issues I have quickly and completely. I feel that they care about my experience with their product and take ownership of any problems.

When i first setup my Cloudberry backup software I had questions about the bandwidth throttling for my offsite backups. I opened a support ticket and a tech responded quickly to my question and sent a detailed explanation along with very clear screenshots to explain how to properly set it up.
  • AWS Setup and integration was extremely easy and quick to setup.
  • The backups jobs are easy to setup with lots of options available to customize the job to fit the system.
  • Very good reports that are easy to read and detailed.
  • I haven't found anything that was difficult or cumbersome. Easy to setup and use.
Yes, but I don't use it
The screens are very easy to understand and very detailed. I have not had any issues finding what I was looking for or understanding what options to use to create my backups. Cloudberry has a simple easy to use interface that is well designed and the documentation is excellent compared to some other backup software I have used in the past.
