What is Sesimi?
Sesimi (formerly MyAdBox MyAssets) is a Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool – a software solution that organizes and distributes media files in a centralized way. Sesimi can be used as a stand-alone product as an independent DAM system or in tandem with MyAdbox's MyAdbuilder software to create customizable content within the MyAdbox platform.
Sesimi is file-type ‘agnostic’, supporting all files no matter what format or size they happen to be. Previews will be generated where applicable (previews are supported across all Adobe’s file types and all image based/video file types). It provides a drag and drop bulk upload tool that can be installed into a system to make the upload process easy. From single file ad-hoc uploads to uploads in the hundreds of assets - it can all be done within the application.
Files are stored securely in the Cloud with Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) object storage service. Files are constantly backed up/versioned, with flexibility around viewing permissions by user and user roles. When uploading new files, new versions are automatically created and we’ve also made it simple to restore files in instances of accidental deletions. Security requirements are or paramount importance to the solution – it provides for storage options in various regions around the world catering to specific client needs. Assets can be ordered by folder hierarchy, or they can be organized and searched by tag. Filtering can be executed by tag or by any metadata attached to the file that assists in the organization. Image description, product data, photographer details, royalty information, model usage rights, or other descriptions and metadata will assist in filtering and with asset previews on image and video files together with custom tagging fields, the solution aims to help users find the right asset faster.
