A great experience with Nakivo
In the company we use Nakivo Backup & Replication as our backup system for our most important systems and databases such as the backup of our virtual servers and data security. It helps us commercially to be constantly in production day by day, so by maintaining this backup system we ensure that we can get our systems up and running again in the shortest time possible in the event of a disaster, be it a cyber attack or a natural disaster. In this way we avoid having economic requests or delays with the service of our clients since we are a company of tourist services.

Simply, low cost solution.
A simple, low-cost and effective solution for backing up entire virtual machines.We have implemented the solution for several dozen clients. The software is very flexible becouse we can install it on the NAS or as a machine on host, which makes it adaptable to the client.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication is a very complete and versatile product, of great value to companies due to its great contribution to information security. Because of its ease of use, administrators can quickly perform full or partial backups and restores, or create scheduled tasks. In our case, we make backup copies of our virtual infrastructure with scheduled tasks that can be easily monitored. The immutable repository option and the integration of cloud backups with specialized providers are a perfect ally to keep information safe, in case of a cyber attack (Ransomware type), and even disasters.

After a client acquired a Synology NAS, we learned about Nakivo's product, which in addition to offering us everything that Veeam offered, was cheaper and we could run it from the NAS itself, where we planned to store the information. This meant eliminating a server with the costs that this entails (operating system and protection licenses, electricity consumption, etc.). In addition to being cheaper, it simplified production start-up and management because it was very intuitive. So far, we have not suffered any loss of information, which is the most critical aspect of this service. The constant development and continuous improvements of the product are also attractive to us. In short, Nakivo is a Backup utility that can compete perfectly with the best-known applications deployed in large multinationals (you have to check compatibility with the infrastructure), but also, thanks to its prices, it is affordable for any type of business; both small and medium-sized companies, putting within reach of an SME, the security with which any multinational could work.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication
Our company had been using various products for our clients to
create a solid backup and disaster recovery platform and wanted to
consolidate our data management tools into a single platform. The
market for those tools has been evolving over the years in
PC/Server platforms. Our expertise dates from 1973 and IBM
mainframes and as such we have high standards for best practices
in data management. The attributes that we use to judge a product
are data security, data integrity, flexibility, interface
usability, technical support and cost . We started using Nakivo
several years ago when searching for a product and company that
met those criteria for our clients VMware infrastructure.
Nakivo meets our overall criteria and exceeds them with their technical support. Having been in the industry since 1973 we have never seen such responsive and competent technical support. We have had few issues over the last few years and most have been resolved within a day. They have always responded to the support request tickets within a couple of hours and continue a fast response until the issue is resolved.
They have also continued to increase the flexibility of their products. We have begun to use their physical machine product which is fully integrated with their management platform. This will give our company and clients a single interface for data backup and disaster recovery. The product management portal is very comprehensive and intuitive . The online help documentation is also excellent. The experience to date with the physical machine support has been very positive.
Overall we are pleased with the cost even though they are not the lowest cost vendor but neither are they the highest cost. Based on all of the criteria we feel that they are the most cost effective solution in the market today.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication, our first steps in Backup and Replication Solution for VMware vSphere
We have a new VMware vSphere Cluster with a several Virtual Machines Windows Based and Linux Based, We needed a new Backup Solution for those new Workloads, I deployed in a second site, a new Backup Server with Storage SAN direct attached, I deploy NAKIVO Backup & Replication in Virtual Appliance and with it I protect all the inventory of the VMs and safe its Backups and Data in a Backup Repository with immutablity feature.
- I know that NAKIVO Backup & Replication's replication feature can permit configure replicas in a Different Hardware Platform with VMware vSphere
- I would like new Recovery Methods for my VM, Live Full VM Restore overwritting, Restore Individual files of the VM (like VMDK, VMX)
- I would like restore my data on a cloud site
- I would like that NAKIVO Backup & Replication protect Virtual Machines with WSFC deployed on VMware (usually SQL Server Clusters Virtualized)

Best MSP-Backup solution!
We are using NAKIVO as MSP for mostly smb-customers.
We use the director-service in multi-tenancy-mode and have at least one transporter on every customer site.
We are backing up VMWare Servers and MS365 tenants.
- The multi-tenant console is very valuable, because it makes our workflow easier.
- We can also configure every backup from one central website, which is very nice.
- Deployment of transporters is also very quick, so the full backup solution is set up very fast.
- NAKIVO support is also very nice, 24/7 available and it is wonderful to work together on an issue.
- Proxmox support would be nice for smb and smaller customers.

A great choice for backing up VMs
After a physical to virtual migration of several machines, I needed good backup software to protect these new VMs. With a smaller infrastructure it didn't make a lot of sense to spend the money on a subscription to Veeam when I could buy a license for a one time fee. Now we have organized daily, and weekly backups that get sent off site as well for DR purposes. Also the email alert is very useful, I get email notifications everything a job completes or fails so I always know what is going on with my backups.

The best solution in affordable price
NAKIVO stands out from all other backup and replication solutions out there when it comes to backing up virtual servers, physical servers, Office 365, and many more. The product is handy and user-friendly when restoring files and/or restoring an entire server. We use it for all our clients every single day and have very few issues, their support team is very responsible and helpful to resolve any issue within a short period of time.

As a representative of an IT service company, we have abandoned other backup solutions in favor of Nakivo. The determining elements in this choice are :
- The ease of handling, installation and payment
- The possibility of having multi-tenants to manage the backups of the customers
- A powerful and reactive support service
- Prices much more attractive and adjustable than its competitors for the same functions
It would have taken only one of these reasons to want to change for Nakivo, but it gathers them all, so we did not hesitate.

Easy and reliable solution
We use NAKIVO to backup our VM structure. It gives us peace of mind to have it covered by the solution. It doesn't require much maintenance as it basically operates itself once it's proper configured. The solution is very simple, fast and reliable. We don't have much contact with support since it does not require often. The times we needed, NAKIVO's team was fast and effective in its responses.

NAKIVO Backup and Replication
NAKIVO can be an easy-to-use software. The software is reliable, and we have had few problems with NAKIVO in terms of backups and operation. It offers easy backup management. We use functions like VM replication,
backup, backup to cloud and copy jobs to transfer the backups to external media. The last one could use some improvement. The user interface is a bit confusing sometimes. If you are dealing with complicated network structures, it can be quite difficult to set up. Connection NAKIVO to AWS, GOOGLE, O365 is not easy. Currently there is no app for smartphones with statuses of currently running jobs.You also can't monitor multiple clients at the same time. Some of the functions are a bit too technical and can easily confuse normal day-to-day users.
- It offers easy backup management. We use functions like VM replication, backup, backup to cloud and copy jobs to transfer the backups to external media. The last one could use some improvement.
- The user interface is a bit confusing sometimes. If you are dealing with complicated network structures, it can be quite difficult to set up. Connection NAKIVO to AWS, GOOGLE, O365 is not easy.

We are happy to use NAKIVO Backup & Replication
We did manual backup of our VM's before - NAKIVO Backup & Replication was a cheap alternative to this, and do it all for us now. Furthermore, we have used disaster recovery a few times, and it worked like a charm, and saved us money and time.
We have used the software so much that we became partner and certified.
We use the multi-tenancy very much as well, so we can manage multiple customers from one site - that makes it much easier to see if all backups has been run without errors, and setting up multiple jobs from one site, so that we don't need VPN and such for configuring customers sites. All in all, NAKIVO Backup & Replication helped us save a lot of time.

I use Nakivo Backup to backup both VMs, on VMWare and 10 Client Workstation Windows 10.
Configuring virtual machine backup is very simple.
I have the Pro license, which allows me to backup both locally and on SMB (nas and trueNAS).
Nakivo allows you to perform immutable backups on NAS (in my case Synology).
Backup scheduling is very simple.
The installation of the Nakivo machine was very simple, its configuration even more so.
I have been using it for 4 years now, I also tested the recovery of a virtual machine and it was very simple and fast in restoring the VM.
In the future I will also consider purchasing a license to also copy the backups to the cloud.
The technical assistance, even with Italian support, is excellent, fast and very competent.
I opened support tickets for some very important updates and they supported me until the end.
I recommend this product to everyone.

Nakivo has reached us as a benchmark for many companies in the sector in the field of backups. We doubted if it would be another product, but we have discovered that they are the perfect solution for incremental copies of virtual machines. We had not been able to solve these processes until now, we could not find a tool that would do it with total reliability. We currently have nakivo installed on Vsphera and making copies locally and on Amazon. It is the perfect solution. In addition, their ability to make them incremental and their test scenario against disasters, make them have an important value in our current and future park.

We operate Nakivo since 2015 at our customers as standalone instances, in MSP mode (Backup-as-a-service) and also for our internal purposes. We backup mostly VMware infrastructures and, as of last year, the Microsoft 365 tenants. As a service provider, we benefit from the central console where all the instances are shown in a single pane of glass which helps to track backup runs and storage consumptions. Immutability and WAN-optimized backup replication keeps our customer's data safe and always available. The most common recovery case is granular file recovery, however in some rare cases also full VM recovery is asked. Retention policies are flexible enough to fit our customers needs and the change block tracking along with easy-to-maintain incremental backups increased the recovery points from daily to hourly, in specific file-share scenarios up to 15 min snapshots.

My experience with NAKIVO Backup and replication software
