  • We had to move our entire goal setting OKR process out of Namely and build another tool because Namely's goal setting features don't cascade well and are not transparent enough for us.
  • On a positive note, we have always liked our benefits renewal experience. I have a high trust for that team and technology.

  • Without a doubt, our payroll processing has dramatically improved. Manual correction checks are a rare occurrence. As a result, our employees spend less time auditing their pay. From an admin standpoint, we spend less time processing payroll, and more time making improvements to other processes and modules within namely.
  • As managers get more and more used to using Namely to process personnel changes, we're using less paper. More importantly, we're seeing a big increase in the integrity of our personnel records.
  • Our People team is able to easily provide support across various People issues, since Namely makes it very easy to quickly get the information needed to resolve issues.

  • Negative Impact. We are out of compliance due to Namely not having a way for us to display sick and vacation balance on our pay stub
  • Positive Impact. We finally introduced paperless performance management, on-boarding, benefits administration and employee information changes
  • Negative Impact. Constant issues with benefit carrier feeds and incurred PENALTIES and INTERESTS from different states. Poor support from Namely Tax Team.
  • Negative Impacts. More time is spent on doing payroll because there is a lack in integration. We also spend more time auditing to ensure that employees have the correct benefits that they elected so that we get billed correctly.

  • We were doing all payroll in-house, and while we still have to maintain careful records to verify payroll data on each run, Namely has simplified the actual processing of payroll. We now enter payroll totals via Journal Entry and don't need to have employee-by-employee payroll data in our QuickBooks file. Namely even has a GL report to summarize the Journal Entries.
  • Namely has helped to formalize our performance review process.
  • Namely is our go-to repository for employee information and tracking.

  • Positive: simplified some HR processes, taking less time for employee and HR personnel to manage time off, performance reviews etc.
  • Positive: one system (on the internet, not inside eSilicon firewall) for all these processes, which cut down on the expense of paying several separate tools to do the same.
  • Positive: it removed all the trouble and head ches of managing HR processes in a global company.

  • Namely has had a very positive impact as it has allowed us to grow in a managed fashion. It has helped our team stay connected and keep good communication. It has also helped us with best practices and stay compliant. We've been able to form good HR habits from an early stage which will save us time and personnel as we grow and have more federal compliance mandates.

  • We've been able to save on our benefits renewal costs by going with their brokerage services as well as getting a reduction in service fees.
  • The best part is how much more value they've added to our overall function beyond just the expense of an HRIS/Payroll system.

  • It has saved a lot of time for myself and the HR manager. We are able to get the work done with less people than before and it is much more accurate.
  • Our employees are also happier which is very important to us. The platform has scored much higher on our Culture Amp surveys than previous platforms had.
  • Our managers can run their own reports that we are able to set up for them if need be (they can also build their own reports). This give them the keys, so they don't have to wait on us to get them info, it is all right there for them.
