It would have been a better system if we were able to use more features but due to the limited capabilities it had to work with a cannabis company, we were not able to optimize everything. It helped get the job done for the time being but was not as helpful as we would have liked it to be. Employees did have positive feedback about the interface though.

After many years of using Namely, I've learned my way around and am pretty efficient. It does take some learning and practice.
One thing lacking that I forgot to mention, was that it would be nice if Namely had a "sandbox" option to try out how certain things will work in the real/actual system.

A little help box will appear in the bottom right hand corner of the screen that will link you to the articles you might need for the section. This is the best way to find these articles as searching in the help community can be daunting and often not provide the relevant articles.

It works, but there are many things that are inconsistent that bother me. For example, the job title section makes no sense. In onboarding, it's a search field, but everywhere else it's a long dropdown list. And why do job titles need to be an object rather than a text box? This is just one example of issue areas.

It is very simple to use for myself, the HR team, and our employees. I find the payroll process very user-friendly. Reporting is simple to navigate and produce the required information requested. I know our employees enjoy the self-service feature and use it on a regular basis, which saves me time.
