The .NET framework does not limit the amount that you can do. It provides all of the tools necessary to design your code to do what you need it to do. Most developers have had some level of exposure to the .NET stack, which means that they should be able to become relatively familiar with its nuances. Even if they have no experience with the .NET framework, the language is simple enough to understand and the Visual Studio IDE has enough smarts to quickly turn a novice into a pro.

.NET frameworks are fantastic overall. There are no limitations to what you can accomplish with it. The most important part is that you'll have access to developer community support and that .NET is always being improved every month. Be it in web applications, back-end servers, or integrations, .NET enables developers to do it all.

.NET is very popular among developers. It is easy to use and compatible with Microsoft products. It can be used to develop almost any kind of app including 2D and 3D games. There are numerous libraries to choose from and there are close to around 50 languages to choose from in the .NET framework.

When it comes to usability. .NET is heavily operating system dependent.
On Microsoft Windows:
  • Easily integrates with Windows
  • Many dependencies are already part of the operating system
Other operating systems:
  • You will need to use .NET Core
  • The application will need to be shipped/deployed with many dependencies

However, generally .NET framework is supported by many hosting services.

The first thing that comes in mind is the IDE is a software suite that provides must-have tools for a developer to build and test software applications. The default IDE for .NET applications is Microsoft Visual Studio, which is a sophisticated tool to build apps. Intellisense is a favorite for developers to write code easily without remembering all the functions at the time of development. It supports multiple programming languages - C#, VB, F#, C++ based on individual skill sets.

The full .NET Framework is an amazing thing and is very robust. We have used it to create console apps, Windows apps, and online apps.

When coupled with Visual Studio, development, testing, building, and deploying our applications has become 100 times easier as compared to doing those things manually before.

The automation of this process has helped us push out changes to our applications faster to adapt to the ever-changing business requirements.

Microsoft .NET is very easy to get started with. All you need to do is download the free Microsoft Visual Studio and you can be off and running developing in Microsoft .NET. Deployment is very easy as all the libraries you will need will come pre-installed in Windows and can be easily downloaded for other operating systems.

.NET is highly usable due to community and support it gets from Microsoft. It's a great product that has evolved over the last 18 years and keeps on staying modern and relevant as time progresses. As other languages come and goes, it has adopted a lot of the features of these languages.
