We have 2 main NetSuite administrators, 1 data warehouse engineer, and 2 business analysts on staff to help support NetSuite ERP. Knowledge of SQL, HTML customization, and Java are preferred, but not required. A strong financial background will be key in order to better understand the nature of NetSuite ERP's operation.

Our in-house NetSuite support is a relatively small team. The skills needed I'm not entirely familiar, but our team consists mainly of IT and development resources, whose skills encompass coding (HTML, CSS, etc), website building, etc.

We don't want to get into the specifics of headcount, but I can share that 99% of NetSuite is managed in-house. This is a testament to the ease of use of the product, our commitment to the platform, and our commitment to use the system out-of-the-box when possible.

We have been using NetSuite for almost 2 years so the help we have had to provide our co-workers has changed a lot. In the beginning it was helping people to do their daily jobs. Then it transitioned to helping people get the information out of NetSuite. And now it is about how to customize and automate NetSuite. We still provide basic training to new employees and also to all staff when we create new processes that take advantage of a NetSuite feature which is very simple and straightforward. But it would be ideal to have a full time person dedicated to administering NetSuite.
