Powerful Tool With Overly Complicated UI
- Site speed monitoring has improved
- Pricing is hard to budget for since it's based on usage
- Overall it has been a net positive, but not by much
- We were able to figure our bottlenecks in our system for performance improvement.

New Relic APM is magic. Simple to implement and gives visibility of everything. Not cheap
- Rapid incident detection
- Quick and easy implementation in a single tool
- High cost for a company with a lot of traffic. I can't use all the functionalities I would like because of the high cost of data ingestion. For example logs, where Open solutions such as ELK are better.

NewRelic: What an amazing monitoring tool!
- It was vital to deliver % of availability of client sites in order to contrast it against the client satisfaction in regards of how their site performed during a period of time. It is part of our philosophy of "obsessing about client experience", where taking the results of those availability reports, we can take decisions to make our sites more performant.
- When other people hear excellent comments about the service we are offering, it helps to generate opportunities to get more new clients. We were able to generate Dashboards and Reports with NewRelic to demonstrate if we comply with our SLAs, that way we can expose those results to new prospects.

- It has helped deliver our Uptimes and Stability commitments to our customers. The Apdex based alerts, APM tools allow us to provide a stable product to the customers. We went from 99.5% to 99.95% over 2 years.
- Good data driven culture has been enforced within the group. The engineering and product teams can hold each other accountable on the quality of their delivery.
- Reduce costs of the infra as right efficiencies can be brought into the codebase, and the application instead of throwing more hardware to the system. Costs reduced by ~10-15% over 2 years.
