It is super easy to use and very easy to share, the only downside is you need to invest in training people for it just like any other software, I advise using a mix of in-person hands on training and web tools, because the web tools dont seem to be adequate for everyone

The mobile platform can be slow to load if the cellular connection is sketchy. The user interface displays just enough information without overloading the screen with unnecessary information.

NEXGEN Mobile does give simplistic access to a mobile device and it makes it easier to complete simple tasks in the field. I rated it an 8 because the search function is still clunky on the mobile app and we have intermittent problems with connections, especially after an update; these tend to correct themselves within a day or so.

I have had very positive feedback from the supervisors and field personnel regarding how easy it is to use NEXGEN. With a few workflow reference documents, end users are able to use the system at a very high level. As they learn the software, they continue to see possibilities within their departments/divisions to add new functionality and more powerful data collection to their work processes.

Usability is great, I really think employees at any level can access and navigate it easily. I have seen extremely difficult programs to navigate, and NEXGEN is not like that at all.

The mobile platform has improved a lot in the 5-6 years we've been involved. In my opinion, NEXGEN Asset Management has targeted making mobile devices as user-friendly and useful as possible for field users. NEXGEN University has been a great tool to educate the use of these mobile platforms.

The update schedule is not announced with time to give our users notice of an update. Updates often revert bugs we fixed. The app was completely broken for 6 WEEKS right after roll-out. It was a disaster.
