We have several locations across two states, and these phones make it easy for us to stay in touch or reach out with questions. It has drastically cut down on waiting on hold when calling the office to speak with someone. We have reached out to customer support for various reasons, and they have been amazing to work with!

We use Nextiva as a communication platform both inside and outside the office. It works pretty smoothly to combine all your business and personal telecommunications lines. The app acts as a mobile office line, so you'll never miss a call when you're gone. As property managers, we occasionally leave the office to visit our properties, so it's reassuring to know we won't miss an important call or appear to be neglecting people who call the office during normal business hours. It also discourages giving out your personal line or having a second phone. I like the feature of having voicemail transcriptions and listed recordings for quick, easy access. The settings make it pretty easy to control notifications and calls. Texting is also available as an add-on feature. Overall, this is a convenient product for businesses in management, customer service, brokering, etc.

Pros

  • Keeps your personal phone number private while still allowing seamless communication with clients
  • Makes calls from your cell phone appear as though they are coming directly from your office line, which feels much more professional
  • Easy to use and incredibly convenient for working remotely or managing business calls on the go

Cons

  • The mobile app can occasionally lag or freeze
  • Contacts merged over but not all of them did
  • the interface could be more modern and intuitive. Certain settings and features take a few extra steps to locate, particularly for first-time users.

My experience with Nextiva has been amazing! I love all the text, call and transfer features. I am so glad we switched to this service. I can even download the app to my phone and answer calls and messages from there. I definitely recommend this service to anyone that is looking for great service and also amazing support if you do have any issues.

We have Nextiva as our phone provider and use their system to manage how our phones work as a small business. We have implemented our own custom call flows along with phone trees to better serve our clients and ourselves. When people call in, they are greeted by a voice recording we created that prompts them to dial a number to be transferred to one of my specific users for efficient care. We also use this to forward calls to specific departments for specific needs. This system is also used for after-hours voicemails and recordings that I receive on my cellphone. I have the app on my phone so I can respond to clients on the go, using my work number if needed.

  • Direct call traffic to the appropriate party to deal with the task at hand.
  • Allow inter-office call transfers to each other at a simple click of a button.
  • There is a handy conference call feature along with a hold system.
