I use the dashboard to manage protection for all devices from a single location, then I can, for example can prevent employees from accessing malicious website. The best feature is the ability to set up regular updates and scans to keep the software and systems secure

Basically, it is just Norton Internet Security marketing for small businesses. I installed the software on 4 different devices. 2 PC's running Windows 8.1, 1 older system running Windows 7, and an Android tablet. Each installation went smoothly and took no more than 1-2 minutes even on the old system. Unlike some other big-name security suites, Norton Small Business is very light on resources and has no noticeable effect on the system's performance. It protects against the usual online threats, social media scams, network invaders, viruses, and spam.

We use Symantec Norton (SMB) across all our devices. I have found SMB well priced, easy to use and effective in achieving desired outcomes. The fact that they have transparent pricing which is customised for India and is well structured to provide economies as we scale up is great. SMB ensures that we do not have any active concerns relating to endpoint protection, something that is essential for a consulting firm like ours with a distributed computing setup.

Data Protection is ensured which ensures positive focus from all team members on their work which certain results in improved productivity at the individual level of 2-4% that consequently improves organisational productivity.
Our cost of external inputs for data security issues is NIL therefore obviously reducing the bottomline by 1-2% which would be the average cost incurred by organisations of our size in general. Of course an event maybe costlier, but I am sticking to averages since we have had no events.
Overall, we feel that the cost of security software is also lower on account of optimised pricing by Symantec. While the expense in this segment is a fraction of total IT costs, and therefore tangible savings are also fractional. However, So, since the value of outcomes (lack of security related negative events) is much higher, intangible benefits are even higher.
