Odoo is simple and easy to use CRM. We have been using odoo to manage our leads for the sales team. Odoo allows you to upload, categorise and manage contacts and add proper segments to it . We were able to process the leads effectively with the help of odoo. It also allows you to import and export data. You can also connect with various automation tools like pabbly.
  • Upload, manage contacts for sales team
  • Create pipelines for team
  • Export and import leads
  • UI can be improved
  • The lead view can be better since we have to scroll a lot.
  • The server is down or technical glitches are happening . We have seen distance in lead count

  • With the help of odoo we were able to organize the sales process with effective lead management
  • The export and analytics options gives good understanding of process
  • Pipeline options are helping to get idea of revenue projections
Odoo was referred by one of my friends and interface was attractive with all these pipelines, filters, etc

We were able to filter leads super precisely and project as per our vision. The notes and reminders are useful. Odoo Congress with inbuilt calender option from where you can create events and share with the team or the respective prospects
Bigin by Zoho CRM, Apptivo, EngageBay Inc.
The technical glitch and delay in opening and going to next lead is the major reason for not continuing with odoo. We faced few lead mismatch between source and CRM count also. The interface and features of Odoo is perfectly well and useful when it comes to process leads and do regular follow up
We haven't got enough support from odoo team

When we begun using Odoo for Manufacturing planning, it was a natural transiton over to the CRM module as we didn't have anything concretely in place for this at the time. We were a considerably smaller company when we implemented it (5 employees!) so at the time, it acted as mainly a customer directory where I could take notes following sales meetings and keep track of potential leads.
As we've grown over the last 4 years to 20 employees, Odoo plays a very integral role in our companies organisation where our sales team generates quotations for customers with it daily and it continues to be the main point of reference for picking up old leads and organising our customer database.
  • Generating quotations partiuclarly for the ease of data amendment so that products can be added on the fly and names can be amended per quote to suit
  • The contact tagging feature is a fantastic way of grouping customers/leads into industry specific groups for targetting specific areas seperately
  • Very versatile customer pricelist function for ensuring discount structures are accurately calculated
  • It would be great to have a custom dashboard with editable graphs and reporting
  • The quotation PDF is limited in how it can be changed and I'd prefer using our own custom design rather than the odoo defaults
We are not a huge company so it's great for the relatively basic requriements we have for storing customer data and logging conversations. I haven't delved too deep inot opportunity tracking but the little I looked didn't seem quite as strong as a tool like Salesforce which I used previously.

  • We've 10x'ed our turnover since implementing Odoo
  • We have trackable quotations across the team so we can all access eah others quotes when people are away
For what we need, Odoo ticks all the boxes. It has a simple to use and nice looking userface, a versatile search functionality as well as complex pricelists management for ensuring our various customers pricing structures are adhered to across the sales team. As we continue to grow it may be that we would consider a CRM like salesforce which (although I haven't like for like tested the both) seems more suited for a large scale sales team
This was a bit of a sticking point, we find the support can be lacking and generally its recommended to spurchase a support pack of hours in order to benefit from full support. We have subsequently gone on to do a lot of the implementation and training by ourselves following lots of trial and error so although things are working now, it was initialy a bumpy road implementing!
