It allowed us to use their centralized dashboard to combine all of our apps into one place where our users can goto access them without having to remember all the different URLs, usernames, and passwords. In addition, it has cut down on our tickets for password resets.

I use Okta as a standard user so I can give only my perspective. Having a tool that manages access with multi factor authentication or single sign on to my applications without remembering all the password is a great thing. Also integration with my finger print on my mac is a plus for me.

As previously mentioned in my other comments, our organization has over 30 companies and none of them operate exactly the same. The Okta platform offers us SSO integrations in a wide variety of environments (cloud-only, hybrid, on-prem). We mostly use SAML for our configurations and this allows us to add MFA to our tools/applications for increased security. Additionally we can easily "kill" access to all applications on an end user account immediately rather than having to locate which apps a user had and individually disabling them.

Having SSO with different applications is very helpful for us employees especially to those having a hard time remembering thier passwords. Yes. My organization uses the Okta Identity Cloud across all of our apps for ease of access. The ability to quickly access everything from a single tile page makes it easy to navigate and operate. Compared to other identity providers, I will always find Okta to be much more user friendly and easy to operate.

It is imperative to the information security that we use the identity manager and single sign on features with multi-factor authentication. This is now a question that we ask all potential SaaS applications before entering into contracts with them, as SSO is an important part of our IT strategy.

Using Okta that is focusing only on authentication does allow slightly more experience and features over your standard bolt on features in Microsoft and Google G-Suite for example. Ie Okta specialises where other vendors often spread their focus across too many applications and features

Yes our organization has benefited from the centralized identity management platform. It allows members of our organization to complete an initial central sign-on and then can access all applications and software throughout the day. Normally there is a 24-hour limit before having to sign-in again. It is very helpful and efficient and saves time throughout the day, causing a seamless workflow when accessing different applications.
