Perfect Diagram and Chart Development Application
- Excellent diagrams and charts for presentations.
- Time saving in diagram and chart development.
- Creating incredibly clear visual workflows in OmniGraffle enables us to spend more stakeholder meeting time productively discussing the workflow and next steps, rather than explaining the step-by-step process. Because the visual shows the relationships between all factors and concepts, we can have a solid, straightforward document to discuss and reference as we make decisions and revisions. Time with bigger stakeholders is expensive, so this is a huge plus!
- Because OmniGraffle is so easy to use, we do not have to spend a lot of time and energy training new employees or existing colleagues on how to use it. We save time and money by having them get right to work, instead of spending days on training and practice.
- OmniGraffle is relatively inexpensive, which has allowed us to give access to the tool to many employees. Across multiple teams, I have heard leaders throughout the company comment positively on how much collective overall time has been saved by diagramming processes. For a company that used to diagram primarily through Microsoft Word docs, this has saved us significant time and from a lot of miscommunication that led to bad, costly decisions.
- Standardizing on Omnigraffle for our internal diagramming (and at least some of our client deliverables) has made it possible for consultants and technical architects to produce high-quality support materials even when designers don't have time to produce "final" versions.

THE diagramming software tool for OS X
- ROI really hasn't come into the picture for me. I purchased OmniGraffle Pro for my own use at home, and to a limited degree import work files from Visio.
- When it comes to my personal use at home, OmniGraffle has paid for itself many times over with the diagrams I have made for charting path-of-travel for Motorcycle Safety Foundation riding exercises. It has subjectively enriched my documentation of subjects important to me.

Omnigraffle is a good, if limited, tool
- Omnigraffle isn't an expensive software tool, so there isn't really any negative from the perspective of raw cost. Thinking in terms of time spent using it on a project - what you create in omnigraffle will inevitably lead to a dead end. It's useful only as documentation. There are other tools like Sketch that integrate into prototyping software and can create useable visual assets for applications in addition to being able to create wireframes.

Omnigraffle, a good tool for writers and songwriters
- In terms of text organization, it is an essential tool.
- As it solves a lot of documentation problems that can not be treated the same way by other software, it is worth the price.
- It is easy to use and to understand, so people I work with can easily complete topics because they immediately see what is going on.

A few adjustments and this is a GREAT tool!
- Very positive! Our clients love the presentations we provide using OmniGraffle. It gives them a clear understanding of how the product will look and detailed explanation next to each element.
- It's also great how easily I can edit the wires in OmniGraffle. I can copy elements with ease in OG as well, this makes it a great tool for rapid prototyping.
- It would be great if we were able to toggle between a presentation/ppt type canvas, as it currently is and a bigger or unlimited canvas with preloaded digital platform screens for easier wire framing.
